Except the fact I’ve never seen you before
I’d leave it all behind to love you
If I thought you wanted more
I’m in love with your spirit
The way you symbiotically connect with the Earth
You’re truly a gift to the world
Even though it has yet to recognize your worth
I know you don’t seek praise
Just one more thing about you that I love
But I want you to know that you’re my treasure

I wanna kiss her
And take all the pain away
I wanna hold her
Because there’s nothing left to say
We both know the situation is broken
And it doesn’t have a fix
The way this all began
Our feelings were never supposed to mix
We were just each other’s escape
Never meaning to become anything more
But our daily interactions
Has brought us to love’s door
If we walked through it together
Happily ever after we’d be pretending
With impossible obstacles to breach
There cannot be a happy ending
At this crossroads...
And take all the pain away

Losing My Grip
I feel my sanity slipping!
Controlling my anger
Has become a chore
For the last vestiges
Of making peace
I’ve ceased gripping!
The onslaught of frustration
Has reached my core
Little things set me off daily
Compassion for ignorance
I faintly possess
But dealing with
Downright manipulators of truth
Has ignited the fires of my stress!
I don’t suffer fools gladly
And I can’t deal with those
Who take advantage
But this world is filled
With Satan’s thoughts
And my emotions are...
