POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
Diagnosed
f**king Coward
If i were dead would you be out of my head?
Oh sweet relief from your disease of my brain.
Every cell punches me , dripping blood from my eyes,
Staining any beauty of how you use to be
My head aches like an atomic bomb
Your face pounding away with no escape.
The tracks of pain running up my veins
Only teasing never pleasing, the marks of things to come.
You wear your scars like a soldiers badge,
But you never won a battle in your life.
Fucking coward.
If I were dead would you be out of my head?

The Poet
I’m a stop watch that can’t stop,
An expiration date with no date,
No time expired on a broken meter,
The Nigra Falls of words,
The endless twirls of Stary Night.
I will leave my story of passion and pain
I will write even if you are not here,
To prove I existed.
An expiration date with no date,
No time expired on a broken meter,
The Nigra Falls of words,
The endless twirls of Stary Night.
I will leave my story of passion and pain
I will write even if you are not here,
To prove I existed.

The Chase
He eyes his prey in the tall hot grass,
Quietly absorbing every move from a safe distance.
But I hide behind a building watching her go to lunch,
Nervously excited,admiring my new desire.
This kill was one of many, Mother Natures law,
Easy pickings from his victims, a beast with a mission
I watch her , I want her, I need her,
But she doesn’t know I’m here.
Closer he gets to his meal of the day,
Smelling the scent of his next prey
The chase is on.

One Shell, One Pebble , One tree
Abadoned on an island with my words,
One shell
One pebble
One tree.
The water refusing to hug the shores,
A burning hot sun extinguishes all life.
Remains of an empty vessel protrudes from the sea while
Footsteps without any prints unmark the sand.
As the day paints the night with the blackest of black ,
He lays on his new bed of memories,
One shell
One pebble
One tree.
One shell
One pebble
One tree.
The water refusing to hug the shores,
A burning hot sun extinguishes all life.
Remains of an empty vessel protrudes from the sea while
Footsteps without any prints unmark the sand.
As the day paints the night with the blackest of black ,
He lays on his new bed of memories,
One shell
One pebble
One tree.

Lost Ring Jan 1987
Curse that stone just lying there,
I remember how it made you glare.
Your friends and foes thought it unfair,
When you displayed to them your newest wear.
But as the days grew up and became a year,
You showed me how you didn’t care ,
As sharp and clean as that stone,
you cut and disfigured a love that had grown,
For such a wealthy expression of love to be,
Now its worth is only a million tears in the sea.

THE END
Did I cross the line and desire you too much?
An explosion of emotions disrupting as such.
Should I have sealed the dream caught between my ears,
Would it have been better if nobody hears?
I read you wrong when you said my poems were “compelling”,
I looked it up to make sure of the spelling.
Webster said evoking
interest, attention, admiration
in a powerfully irresistible way,
I took that as a compliment , you wanted me to stay.
Which poem or line did me in
or
did your God say " don't sin?"
Either way the damage is...
An explosion of emotions disrupting as such.
Should I have sealed the dream caught between my ears,
Would it have been better if nobody hears?
I read you wrong when you said my poems were “compelling”,
I looked it up to make sure of the spelling.

First Poem 1976 “Untitled” age 19
Your weary body sits almost lifeless
as the bus drags on.
A blank stare looks out the grey window
you look through
Heavy slit eyes strain to keep from sleep,
A sleep without dreams?
Scars of time
Like sand dunes
covers an aching face,
Thirsty tired hands
Holds on to yesterdays newspaper.
The bus passes the cemetery again.
as the bus drags on.
A blank stare looks out the grey window
you look through
Heavy slit eyes strain to keep from sleep,
A sleep without dreams?
Scars of time
Like sand dunes
covers an aching face,
Thirsty tired hands
Holds on to yesterdays newspaper.
The bus passes the cemetery again.

Happy Mothers Day Momma
When I had hair
she was there.
A picture frozen in time
The memory burnt in my mind
When I was three
I sucked my thumb,
You cradled me
you loved your son
I played with your hair
gazed in your eyes,
A bond made in heaven
That will never demise.
she was there.
A picture frozen in time
The memory burnt in my mind
When I was three
I sucked my thumb,
You cradled me
you loved your son
I played with your hair
gazed in your eyes,
A bond made in heaven
That will never demise.

Dinner With The Devil
I wonder what a bullet taste like
the sweet torpedo on the devils menu
Hard to swallow, quick to destroy
Ripping,
Shredding
Disrupting
Uncaring
Destroyer of a million cells
Bursting the tender flesh , warm, innocent cloth of the soul
Do I eat the devils treat, do I satisfy his hunger
Why would a sane mind occupy this thought?
He planted his seeds and waits till it grows
Releasing from hell the Blackest of Crows
the sweet torpedo on the devils menu
Hard to swallow, quick to destroy
Ripping,
Shredding
Disrupting
Uncaring
Destroyer of a million cells
Bursting the tender flesh , warm, innocent cloth of the soul
Do I eat the devils treat, do I satisfy his hunger
Why would a sane mind occupy this thought?
He planted his seeds and waits till it grows
Releasing from hell the Blackest of Crows

Butterfly Man
I chased a butterfly when i was eight
across a field of daffodils,
her wings of yellow captured my eye
Fluttering, teasing, soaring so high.
An innocent dance painted the sky,
It made me reach so very high.
Now i chase beauty in the form of flesh,
Through fiber optics , emails and texts
It was easier being a boy of eight,
Being a man is not so great.
across a field of daffodils,
her wings of yellow captured my eye
Fluttering, teasing, soaring so high.
An innocent dance painted the sky,
It made me reach so very high.
Now i chase beauty in the form of flesh,
Through fiber optics , emails and texts
It was easier being a boy of eight,
Being a man is not so great.
