Heavenly Joy
There I sit, strumming my guitar.
I start to sing, but I cannot hear the sound of my voice.
A heavenly joy overwhelms my heart,
and tears begin streaming down my cheeks;
a piece of heaven has touched my soul.
So beautiful, so glorious, so majestic, is this heavenly joy;
I cannot help but sing.
Slowly, I begin to hear the sound of my voice,
and the words that flow from my lips.
My heart and soul are singing;
"Take my life LORD,
and use me,
LORD use,
to glorify Thy name,
to glorify Thy name,
to glorify Thy name."

Tainted Heart
Time has passed
And I have not sought you out
My heart has become tainted once again
For many vile things have been placed before my eyes
Time has passed
But I have returned
Here I am
Please cleanse my tainted heart
Oh how I long for the intimacy that we once had
You spoke and I would listen
My broken heart cried out
And you responded with words of comfort
My mended heart rejoiced
And your presence overwhelmed my soul
Time has passed

SINNER
I cry out to you
For I am a sinner
I deserve death
Instead of life
My eyes have wondered
and my heart has lusted
I have wet my lips in anticipation
And rushed to satisfy the desires of my flesh
And for that
I am an adulterer
I cry out to you
For I am a sinner
I deserve death
Instead of life
The truth was desired
But trouble was coming
And out of my mouth came deception
A little white lie was spoken
And all trouble was averted
And for that
I am a liar
I cry out to you
For I am a sinner...
For I am a sinner

Temptation
Place your hand in the jar
And see what you shall receive
Am I the one who shall deceive?
I think not, for you have many needs and desires
I am here to provide
Your heart,I shall not divide
Yes what harm shall come
If I place but one hand inside the jar
for my needs are great
And who does not want their desires fulfilled
I shall turn my head
And my hand shall reach for the jar
With my head turned
My hand plunges deep inside the jar
What shall I find
Oh how great are my needs
Oh how my desires may be...
And see what you shall receive

PAINTED SKIES
There she sits once again, under black painted skies.
broken hearted, lost and alone,
With no one there to hear her cries.
She’s been searching for love in all the wrong places,
But now no longer wants to see their faces.
There she sits, under black painted skies,
With no one to hear, she cries;
How can the skies be painted white
when there is nothing pure in sight?
She looks to the heavens searching for the glory of God,
but can’t even see the works of His hands.
Everything is blurred by the tears in her eyes.
She only sees water...

The Glory Of The King
In the city;
Delighted hands clap,
Jubilant feet dance,
Blissful voices sing,
Enchanted hearts rejoice,
Bowed knees revere,
Avid tongues confess
The glory of the King.
Outside the city;
Tormented voices wail,
Anguished hearts fear,
Bowed knees tremble,
Begrudging tongues confess
The glory of the King.

SEEK THE FACE OF THE LORD
Seek the face of the Lord always.
Seek Him in the morning,
before the break of dawn.
Seek Him during the noon day hour,
when the sun has risen just below the heavens.
Seek the face of the Lord always.
Seek Him as the sun falls,
making the day slowly fade away.
Seek Him during the cover of night,
before you lay your head to sleep.
Seek the face of the Lord always and forever.
For there will come a time that you do not wake,
and you will stand face to face before the Lord,
as He sit’s upon the judgment seat.
By then, it will be too late to...

Here I am Lord
Down on my knees
Asking you please
Save me

I am tired of fighting this battle all on my own
I am filled with so much hatred

Looking both ways as I take my last breath

Words of praise flow from my lips
A harmonious sound to my King

He is my King, I can’t deny
