POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
I've been writing since I was a kid. I've been writing poetry for 3 years now. Most poetry I write-if not for a story I made, are based on my past experiences.
Murder at Kinley Mansion
Late at night once long ago,
As on the land the rain did blow,
About the land lay a town,
Silence seemed to be the only sound.
Suddenly the peace was shattered,
As a woman came along all pale and battered,
Glancing about in much fear,
Checking constantly to see if the coast was clear.
She went until she found her home,
Entering-she sat all alone,
Twas then the phone pierced the night,
The woman looked at it with much fright.
On and on it continued to ring,
And all she saw was a cursed thing,
When it proved...
As on the land the rain did blow,
About the land lay a town,
Silence seemed to be the only sound.
Suddenly the peace was shattered,
As a woman came along all pale and battered,
Glancing about in much fear,
Checking constantly to see if the coast was clear.
She went until she found her home,
Entering-she sat all alone,
Twas then the phone pierced the night,
The woman looked at it with much fright.
On and on it continued to ring,
And all she saw was a cursed thing,
When it proved...

A Sailor's Tragedy.
The sun beamed down on the village below,
But yet no one seemed to know,
Near the shallows of the shore,
A man rocked back and forth-
Sobbing like none before.
In his arms there a body was,
For he: the only one to know the cause,
For this woman he seemed to know-
As his conduct seemed to relate,
What appeared to be her fate.
Thereafter this tragedy took place,
Haunted features marked upon his face,
The day which he could not forget-
Visions of her ghost often visited him,
And the light at the end of the tunnel...
But yet no one seemed to know,
Near the shallows of the shore,
A man rocked back and forth-
Sobbing like none before.
In his arms there a body was,
For he: the only one to know the cause,
For this woman he seemed to know-
As his conduct seemed to relate,
What appeared to be her fate.
Thereafter this tragedy took place,
Haunted features marked upon his face,
The day which he could not forget-
Visions of her ghost often visited him,
And the light at the end of the tunnel...

To Show I Understand your pain
When I was young so long ago,
Threatened I was though I didn't know,
My parents feared as to my fate
Afraid that the doctors would be too late.
And the doctors did all that they could,
For the fear of my parents they understood,
They opened my skull and saw the mass
Knowing that they had to work fast.
Many at the time feared those efforts to be in vain,
As my life this tumor continued to drain,
But those doctors' efforts weren't destined to be lost
For God had not let my death be the cost.
To show I understand what...
