POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
If i spoke as much as i think, i'd die of lack of oxygen. If i thought as much as i speak, i'd be brain dead. I just write anything, sometimes it's good, usually it's bad, but it keeps me sane-ish
Bravery of Evil
Comes the vision marked with pain,
This emotion yet again,
Unique pattern of the stain,
This shall never leave my brain,
As the motion of the wave,
As the longing of the slave,
The fear that draws out the brave,
A blemish on these pointless days,
Behold the heart of solid gold,
No empathy to young or old,
Pays no heed to what it’s told,
Evil freedom to behold
This emotion yet again,
Unique pattern of the stain,
This shall never leave my brain,
As the motion of the wave,
As the longing of the slave,
The fear that draws out the brave,
A blemish on these pointless days,
Behold the heart of solid gold,
No empathy to young or old,
Pays no heed to what it’s told,
Evil freedom to behold

Grey Nation
Moving through spaces, not sure what I see,
The torment on faces so familiar to me,
They speak and they motion, they sway to and fro,
They cause a commotion, they tell me to go,
They chase me through streets coloured grey dripping red,
The hate seems so strong for nothing done, nothing said,
Silent screams from the watching ones,
Outstretched arms from the lonely ones,
And I don’t know how I got here at al,
The clouds don’t drift and the doors are too small,
I want to leave but I can’t get out,
I need to scream but no sound comes out,
...

Horn of the Devil
For here we are,
and here we stay,
enemies near,
enemies far,
we fight them here today,
our brave brothers,
fight overseas,
we are never done there are always others,
sad to say we will never see these,
for ours and other's freedom they fight,
prevent invasion of the land where we were born,
we fight today, they fight tonight,
between us we grab the devil's horn,
so many are there, so few are here,
has our mission even reached their ear?
All i know is we fight through fear,
we hope they do, for their cause is...

Hall of Obscurity
Across the hall i did stand and stare,
at the thing i could have sworn was there,
my feet seemed glued to the freezing floor,
I could not turn to face the door,
the darkness of the hall was strong,
though I knew I was not wrong,
I saw eyes, my eyes did see,
I saw them staring back at me,
the lords and ladies on the walls did grin,
grin in this hallway full of sin,
and all the tales were passed down,
all the perverse tales of each grinning clown,
the hanging women on the walls were fair,
portrayed to seem without a care, ...

Winter's Wars
The land is baron cold and vile,
but there are things we know all the while,
those things are memories to hold,
glory more precious than gold,
alas one thing we all must learn,
honour is what we must earn,
The year old when it occurred,
when the war of greed was suddenly spurred,
tyrant’s desire,
to extend his borders higher,
i faked my disgust,
to those i most trust,
once they beat us there,
this was a chance to make it fair,
Of that time what i miss most,
comrades each man pre and post,
the tunes we marched to...

Basic Instinct
The modern world in which we live our lives,
The materials, corporations and routines,
Centuries long the system was worked on,
Millennia preceding more primitive the ways,
We all know our past, the way we were,
The children we were, the children there are,
Easily perceived, easily persuaded,
Their emotions are strong, inexperienced to the world
Basic instinct we think we have lost,
We believe we have evolved, better than we were,
though we secretly know it lurks in the shadow,
how would we fare if the situation arose,
worse yet, how...

Angst of a soft mind
The rain poured down,
With intent to drown,
Though I cared not to die,
For I had a dream,
Although it would seem,
I was doomed to fail and cry,
And though the scene was bleak,
On this dirty street,
I knew what one door did hide,
Was a thing so fine,
That I longed to be mine,
That would fill me with beaming pride,
And another thing though,
That scared me so,
And forced be to hide in shame,
Was a fear that this,
Is there is
Day after day the same,
Each person the same,
Just a different name,
And then...
With intent to drown,
Though I cared not to die,
For I had a dream,
Although it would seem,

Libertine's folly
Do not predict what is to come,
Don't fear the unknown,
To do as such is natural to some,
To have all their future shown,
But I believe in mystery,
To let life guide the way,
For what I learned from history,
Is not to plan, but to float away,
And so to follow the great Liberal figures,
Who ne'er judged nor planned nor mourned,
Their doings in my mind it triggers,
And I desire to be scorned,
And if such carefree deeds,
Should lead you into crisis,
Then lose your morals they are but weeds,
And bask in what the prize is,
...

Do to others
An atrocity is merely banter, when masked with a smile,
A self-allocated pass to rape and defile
Inanimate sycophant causing denial,
Left you to rot, and grin all the while,
See they’ll burn you today,
And they’ll fight you,
And they’ll bite you,
And they’ll turn you away,
Seems you’re on a trial, and it’s one you are failing,
Don’t ask for a retrial, that ship is sailing.

The curse of Immortality
The wind gentle as it blows,
White sand beneath my toes,
The waves they are the same,
The sea still yet to tame,
And in a thousand years’ time,
You will stand here and be mine,
Just as a thousand years before,
Another was but is no more,
And so now I stand alone,
Her skin’s now dust from bone,
And your ancestors yet to breathe,
And they will all believe,
An old religion not yet dreamed,
Beliefs they die and are redeemed,
They are always all the same,
Different story different name,
Different colour different age,
Familiar...

Escape
As the sands of time pass by,
and all I loved have disappeared,
I shall up and fly,
escape from what i feared,
and I never shall return,
but continue on my way,
all memories I shall burn,
for here's a new day.
and all I loved have disappeared,
I shall up and fly,
escape from what i feared,
and I never shall return,
but continue on my way,
all memories I shall burn,
for here's a new day.

The obligation of unhappiness
Attached to a world that I scorned from a far,
Like a view past the moon to a distant star,
Now I work for my bread and I long for my bed,
It Is not what this life is for,
Nothing more to be said as it is I am dead,
Was I wrong in wanting more?
Sun gives way to rain and snows,
Heat to sleet to hope that blows-
Away, with what we yearned for,
Alas should we have learned more?
I no longer feel the earth beneath me,
Nor do I feel her presence around,
And I no longer have to power to teach me,
My feet are firmly set to the ground-
Of modern...
