POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
I write both erotic and non-erotic poetry. My erotic poetry speaks the language of dominance and submission. My non-erotic poetry is mostly introspective with the occasional social commentary.
Halo Statue
You look at me
Like I am hiding
An angel underneath
My skin but
I am no heaven born
Creature
Playing peek a boo
Between my fingertips
I wore the brightness
Off innocence a long
Time ago and I
Put myself into
Your hands with no
Sense of shame
Take me as you
See me
Broken and tarnished
Lifting my eyes
While bowing my head
You can have me
At your bidding
As long as you
Remember one thing
I am a slave
To earth and all
Contained within so
Look at me with care
Lest you fall
Like I am hiding
An angel underneath
My skin but
I am no heaven born
Creature
Playing peek a boo
Between my fingertips
I wore the brightness
Off innocence a long
Time ago and I
Put myself into
Your hands with no
Sense of shame
Take me as you
See me
Broken and tarnished
Lifting my eyes

Low Tide
Come find what
I have hidden
For you in
The secret coves
The tasty treasures
That wash up
On your shore
Dive deep and
Drown in my
Depths what a
Sweet way to
Perish for now
Quick while no
One is looking
I have a little
Cave prepared for
Your secret swimmers
As you crest
White capped and
Wanting on my
Naked hungry beach
I have hidden
For you in
The secret coves
The tasty treasures
That wash up
On your shore
Dive deep and
Drown in my
Depths what a
Sweet way to
Perish for now
Quick while no

Winter Is Coming
Love is not
A kind friend bending
Lazy in the breeze
It is not a flower
Or gentle tidings
Love is salt
And wheat and
New cut grass
A good look in the mirror
When you
Don’t like what you see
Love spanks the
Air you breathe
And what fills your lungs
Is neither health
Nor rain
Do not be fooled
Love is a jealous mistress
Waiting impatiently
At the gates
For you to make
A mistake
Look but never
Seek because those
Words do not soothe
And unless prudent
You will inhale

Little Match Girl
I begged from you
A sliver of silence
Which you returned
With motion
Hands on my hips
Guiding you into me
The quiet bearing down
On you as you
Force my screams
You arm yourself
With passion stripping
Me bare of pretense
It is all in the taking
Of what I never offered
Sure and that’s your game
But I know
It is more for me
To lay back on your pillows
Than to go beyond
My own doors exploring
Because in my depths
Is the scape of your heart
And when we join
I am undone
Born anew
In...

Here Comes The Rain
A gray day
The river lonesome
Swimming beneath
Life hides in the shallows
I turn my face
To catch the rising wind
To the scent of rain
The memory of you
It is a day best
Spent indoors
Crashing thunder
Crashing bodies
An all day rain
Soft dripping lazy
Patterns from the sky
Would you like a taste?
Storm swept skies
In storm filled eyes
Wet day
Wet me
I reach for you
And find my umbrella
I sigh and rise
Somewhere above the wind
I was correct, it is
The kind of day best...

The Remnant
I have walked along my streets
Taking each measured step
Following all the rules
The dutiful daughter
The dedicated wife
The devoted mother
When it all came crashing down
On the wrong end of a gun
A lifetime of rules profited me nothing
Now I make my own rules
I do not know what they will be
Where I shall dance
And when
And with whom
I only know I will sit out’s life’s music
Not a moment longer
If needs must, I will dance
Alone
But in that heart
And that soul
The seeking woman’s quest
Continues

Spring Planting
I was not born
To play the role
Of restless lover
And pining maiden
I was made for
Finer things
But my heart still
Longs for you and
I twist in my bed
At night
I have called a
Curse down on
My dreams as
You move seamlessly
Through my mind
The roughness of
Your whiskers
Shivering my palms
I am the air of you
And you are the lightness
Of me
Together we become
Ashes and incense
I am the open field
Green and verdant
Spread before you
Yours to plow
At your leisure
To play the role
Of restless lover
And pining maiden
I was made for
Finer things
But my heart still
Longs for you and
I twist in my bed
At night

Blood Magic
A shuddering brush of
Ice and steam
A whispered shadow
Of smoke and fire
Dancing on my skin
Skittering on my nerves
Gooseflesh rising on my arms
A silent breath of agony
Melded with the sweetness
Of sin unspoken
A sliver of uncertainty
Under the slide of taste
Conquered and complacent
Inhaling the scent of you
Your hands on my face
Your mouth opening mine
A growl of want and
A pride of need
I would cross oceans to feel
The way I feel
Under the spell
Of your kiss
Ice and steam
A whispered shadow
Of smoke and fire
Dancing on my skin
Skittering on my nerves
Gooseflesh rising on my arms
A silent breath of agony
Melded with the sweetness
Of sin unspoken
A sliver of uncertainty

The Fault of Pretense
What a merry dance
We made when
I was London and
You were Liverpool
All bright sparks
And shaken heels
I loved you the way
Artists loved starlight
And you loved me
Until the autumn day you
Packed up and went away
Without saying a word
Leaving me to find out
From others I would
Hear no more music
From your guitar
You had only gone visiting
I told myself
Soon you would miss me
And I would find you
In my sun streamed room
A cup of coffee in your hand
But this was a lie
You would never...

Distinctions of A Traveler
A well-kissed journey
Open mouthed down the
Column of the throat
That stretches out along
The collarbone and brings
Into focus shoulders soft
And white
Dipping your tongue into
The hollow between mounds
That invite your hands
To squeeze and mold
Making pebbled nipples
With the brush of a thumb
The low curve of the belly
Beckons your tongue to
Dive into the tiny button
Before moving lower as
Your hands travel up
The sleek length of thigh
Your hands open the gates
As your tongue laps at each...

A Woman Scorned
A woman of insatiable need
Panties soaked with sex
She can melt you with a whisper
And sear you with a sigh
She is tangles and satin
With the voice of a harp-strummed angel
When she sings and the
Starlit drawl of a London lady
She can raise your manhood
With her eyes and ride you better
Than a rodeo queen
But watch out for the spurs
For she can bring the moon down
With her temper
Out cuss a Yankee in a New York minute
And while heaven lies beneath
Her fingertips
Nature, Hell, and all the elements
Have...

Beloved Contradiction
You are city streets,
Refrigerated winter and
One night stands.
I am backroads,
Sultry summers, and
Waiting for marriage.
You are well-traveled,
Experienced, and marked
With aggression.
I am stay-at-home,
Innocent still, and marked
With evasion.
We are good cop, bad cop
Jet planes and hoop skirts
Old, new, borrowed and paid for.
We are seeds and promises,
Cups of coffee with dressed-up motives
And matrushka doll hearts.
You are sneaking out at night,
I am playing cards with my mother....
