Unspent Dreams
Look at all these offerings;
Flawless addictions
A paralyzing,
amplifying,
complete malediction
Inserting the defective source
in a rundown operation
Is an anonymity that captures you and
leads this solemn nation
In a flow of raucous energy
In a river of silentious screams
Casualties fall one by one
Leaving behind their unspent dreams
Obviate the presence of reality
and burn your soul where you lay
To whom this wisdom shall be odious
Changes day by day
Flawless addictions

Locked away
I don’t want you to love me anymore
And for all the times that we had
I’m glad that we have grown so much
And such as love that falls away
I’m not the same person you once knew
And you, much better than before
But my heart died on my sleeve
I’m left hollow and broken
My life was different then
When I was stronger
But the longer that I simmer with the pain
My brain will never heal
My life was shattered
But it never mattered that I tried
I cried when I knew I...

My journey has come to an end
No life left to defend
I am empty
Mental illness has sent me
Into the arms of the enemy
Destinies destroyed
Wishes unfulfilled
Stability upended
Sent through the proverbial mill
Depression overtakes me; my conscience is thrilled
My body is spineless while my mind is strong willed
Why can’t I escape this?
Why won’t it let go?
Why is it that sorrow is in every seed that you sow?
Where is the happiness?
Where is the glee?
When will elation overwhelm me?

Chaos, delusion; Amassed a kin
We quiver and dance with mask and din
Maneuver the depths
Alas! We’re in

Moth
A mark; A whisper
A prophetic force
Drawn into the maelstrom
Attached for purpose
Spreading lies that only death foretold
Uncanny
Sumptuous but unkind
Fettered, yet unhinged
We breed moths with piety
They flit into the night
Gathering only the light
Whilst the darkness fouls the tips of their wings
Jewelled Yule moon
Moist blasphemy
The wiseman was fooled
Into believing His way is rhapsodized
Overwrought and florid
I am my own beneath His cover
They mock the walk of individuality ...

Tin man
The mechanical sun shone towards my soul
Illuminating my tin hole
Left in place of my rotting heart
When my body fell apart
My limbs were pruned, and in place
Was the skin drawn from my face
Limbless serpent commit; unwind
In my boneless, clear view mind
Encased in grey
My thoughts, array
No room to writhe
I cannot thrive
This covering has smothered me
No company to comfort thee
I fall to my knees, spiritually
So hard to please; no one’s here for me
I stand up straight
Lost in this...

Time, salacious; we gather what we can
To yearn, god-willing, is to decay
We resolve; we adapt to the order of man

Soulless wisdom; sheltered lust
Withered envy; credence dust
Magnificent infamy; painless denial
Misshapen words, my crux to defile
Shifting one’s purpose to revel in glory
Loveless desire will not be my story
Passionate citizens turn to the light
Truth be my tempest fledging the night
The wicked ones sageness, while effective on most
Undervalued the enlightened holding their post
The depth of the rabbits hole boggles the mind

Earmarked and green-eyed
