The Last of My Efforts
This is it, this is my final go.
In the end, it's life that delivered the final blow.
I'm calling it, and let the record show,
That even the strongest of us, can fall.
I've had it, it's been a great run.
To Rebecca, my sweetest sin.
I love you but I'm afraid it's time to go,
Rest in the eternal hole.
To all of my friends, you gave me your hearts.
I will love you always, and this is your new start.
There's more of me, billions of people around the world,
Go find the other me, make it your goal, move toward it.

The Other One
Another soul, gently strolling by,
It caught my eye, and then it spoke,
A voice so soft, my every breathe were chokes,
It touched my skin, and I became whole.
It's laugh sends my hopes as high as they could go,
Because inside, I know that it should be mine,
But I was too slow, and now I can't go,
As far as I wish I could.
And it knows I would,
And it uses it against me,
Tickling the fibers of my being,
And teasing me every way it can.
It's torture to know that what should be mine, isn't.
But I endure, and it's meaning grows...

Every Single Day
It takes a lot of strength for me to stay away,
I want to embrace you, like I did back in those days,
But they would mean nothing now, and I can't see how,
It could ever work again.
Every day I see you, you grow more and more beautiful,
The sun I can't look away from,
And even though you're blinding me,
I stare with high hopes of heaven.
Your soft eye contact punches me in the gut,
A hard blow from something I held so tender,
Blind and bruised you left me,
And I will not recover.
Every day I hope and dream,
Of our alternate...

When You Anger Me..
When you anger me,
the world catches fire.
When you anger me,
the air ignites.
When you anger me,
I try not to fight.
You made your choice,
and you've angered me.
the world catches fire.
When you anger me,
the air ignites.
When you anger me,
I try not to fight.
You made your choice,

It
A burning infection, scratched and spread,
its reflection represents nothing but death.
Pale white skin, and passionate blues eyes,
force the weak into its arms, and brings their demise.
Its slime covered skin, protects it from pain,
but burns through everyone's souls as acid rain.
Its crimes have earned it its name, the unforgivable,
hated, monster and machine.
Its touch sends waves of hell through those nearby,
This monster, this monster is me.
its reflection represents nothing but death.

Regret
I wish we hadn't met,
where we both can wear our smiles,
fake or not, we'd be wearing them,
and not hiding behind glass.
I hoped I could pass you by,
and not hold your hand for the time I did,
because then, I'd still be smiling,
and we wouldn't have to try.
It keeps me awake at night,
I just want to sleep, please, let me sleep,
and stay out of my dreams for a night.
I clutch my heart tight, then realize it isn't there,
because it's among the things you took,
I still find myself hooked, on your line of love,

Kayleigh
Her eyes glistened like crystals, as her hair, auburn, sparkled in the morning sun. Her dreary yawns gave her the fresh bursts of air she needed to start the day. The cold, snow covered landscape, wrapped tight in winter's embrace, gave her and I chills. We shivered mockingly, in sync, like we thought the same thought. Her smile reminded me of why I was put on this planet.
Fighting with her to get her to eat was a hassle, but I learned to deal with the commotion. A short conversation was all I needed, so she would eat without realizing it, and just like that, she finished her...

Insatiable
Women indeed, have the insatiable need,
For heart to heart destruction,
When I crossed paths with an angel,
I saw their initiative.
The world was fine, the days were clear,
Happy days with clouds no where near,
It started off fine, how it should,
And I had a thought, could I do it?
As she dreamt I would.
I told her we needed a break, just to see,
and when I was ready to take her back, she wasn't.
I waited a week longer, just to be,
Everything she wanted.
Her answer was no, she had to leave,
Yet she went and lied,

What am I to you?
What do you, think of me?
Have you read my other poems?
Why don't you? Care to read?
My deep and twisted reality?
Do you care?
Why do I write?
To you, I have no face,
I'm out of sight.
How could you relate to me?
You don't know me, and can't see me.
Yet my words, you all follow,
As if you're close to me.
I know none of you, and I don't write for you,
I write for me, and I alone.
I only entertain, my words are like a book,
But all I do is bitch and moan.
Well? What do you think of me?
Positive? Or...

I Lost You
I don't know what to do,
I had, and lost you,
Now it seems it's true,
I'll never be with you.

Now it seems it's true,
I'll never be with you.

Rebecca
Rebecca
An ode to your voice,
As it tickles my ear,
A wonderful melody,
I continue to hear.
Your eyes are enchanting,
I am willing to behold,
The full power they contain,
A power I can withhold.
Your words are a walkway,
I walk on so silently,
Because if I were too loud,
I couldn't hear them, I need to walk quietly.
Your touch is beyond what I can perceive,
Beyond any euphoria I can receive,
Your touch brings me to the magical road,
Of life with you, for you, with you to hold.
I cannot tell...

I Lost You
I had you once, and we were set,
On the life we wanted,
But on the 7th, when you left,
I lost what we had started.
I felt love, first and last,
And you proceed to take it,
I did nothing wrong, your heart was mine,
There's no way I can make it.
We need a break, you need some space,
Tell me lies, to my face,
But one day, I know I'll face,
My past, your arms, my only happy place.
I stood my ground, I grabbed your arm,
I swore I'd never let you leave,
I tried to stop you, you won't agree,
