Why Does Life Interfere with Living?
Why does life interfere with living?
Everything that sustains an individual fails to sustain an individual.
The necessities of life fail to fulfill needs.
The body requires food, water, air.
The person needs money and shelter and community.
The spirit desires both most and least.
One's spirit can be starved and neglected while the body and person lives.
One's spirit must be suffocated and abandoned for the body and person to live.
But If the spirit is dead, can one be alive?
How many of us are dead?
How often are we asked to...

Creep. Pervert. Nasty. Weird.
Who here has chosen their predilections?
Who can control their mind or loins when it comes to stimulation?
Why? How? What? Whoa!?
Do you determine your erogenous zones?
Do you manage every sigh or moan?
A curve that ignites my soul.
Why can I not enjoy hers or his?
Such a sight my heart does heal.
What does it matter from hers I get zeal?
"Love is pain." "Beauty is pain." "No pain no gain."
Perhaps such sayings have left an affect?
Raised to be disciplined while being taught to...

If I could be anything,
I'd be free.
If I could do anything,
I'd just be me.
In this life, so full of strife.
It seems to me,
that the hardest thing to be
is simply happy.
I hope this is just me
So I could hold all the suffering.
But I see everything but happy around me.
I see angry and mad
And hungry and sad
Child without dad
No family grad-
uates
But barbiturates.
I can scarcely handle it.
Minds & bodies want to quit
Families don't just split;
They shatter like a...
