A Story
If I wrote my story down you'd swear it was fiction
Talk about a constant struggle with despair and addiction
Everything I longed to find was always there but I missed it
Just another lost soul with a prayer and a vision
Hell isn't where you'd go if you wasn't a christian
It's the failure of a dream and a lack of ambition
You'd regret everything you didn't do
When memories hurt
And disaccord is in-tune
Separates your friends too
You'll see who really cares
Starving and broke
You'll see who's really there
Better be leery of supercilious...

Forever In The Dark
"Another cold dark night I saw a shadow, the demons were screaming from being defeated in this battle, like castrated cattle, they didn't have another chance, susceptible target, an ignoramus from a glance, they didn't understand that opportunities are vague, entangled in consequences from gambits gone astray, if you can sit and stay past heart wrenching shrieks, you'd then gain admittance into the darker part of me, where specters start to grieve when a demon passes by, subjugated by hate, where every inch of passion dies, like an everlasting lie, they're forever in the dark, I've been...

The Art Of War
Recognize the enemy and let the wrath unfold
Dogfaces in pursuit
Casualties untold
Murder murder was the method
Severed heads on the beach
Blend odium and abhorrence with gunpowder tea
Stir it thoroughly and focus on the fix
They do demonstrate the acts of violence for our kids
Several scanty scattered sins
Enmity is in a group of it's own
If they were shooting and was killed
Tell me now who was wrong?
I wish they would've known
Now they see the flames
So sick of the promises of a change that never came
The pain had never changed...

Forthright Facade
A wolf in sheep's clothing
You can't restrain a pain that keeps growing
A-ok masquerade
But hey
You left your teeth showing
And I can't keep going on with this
Once astonishing bliss ending with a caustic twist
Instantaneously dismissed
If you love a person why let them go?
What if dishonesty's a factor and they won't let you know?
Should you stay and hope?
Disappear at ease
Fallacious facades are just as clear as crystalline
But what really gets to me
Is denial with proof
I guess if I were insecure
I'd lie to you too
You can't restrain a pain that keeps growing

Let Me In
You should know you could open up to me
Ditch inhibitions
Don't be afraid to let me see
I would rather let you be
But your eyes screamed urgent relief
To call in question what you say and what you actually mean
The sequent tear fall has become a problem
You frantically dropp them
While I can tell you couldn't stop them
Let's go deep inside
A cryptic darkness in the way
Enigmatic emotions
And discontented mind-frame
Can't you see that time's changed?
Better days
Strictly here for the pain

Keep A Smile
Though calamity is often hard to handle
Give yourself a break
Take a walk or light a candle
And people couldn't fathom half the things you're dealing with
Morally misfit
Is it best to call a quits?
But the problem is with this
You'd be sure to miss your lessons
Manumit your mind
Don't forget to count your blessings
Even when you're stressing there's a brighter point in time
Well on it's way
Just keep the faith
And peep the signs
The strongest ones survive
I'm reminded that someone has it worse
Storm and stresses do disperse...
Give yourself a break

Nothing Cool About It
There's nothing cool about it
Catch a clue cause' you can do without it
A reason why the graveyards are crowded
Shaking my head
So full of memories of shame and regret
It's the reason why the death angel came to collect
We can't expect lost souls to lead themselves
We turn towards drugs to keep from saying we're needing help
If a man would be himself he could tell what his mission in life is
Like this
Our kids need to get with the right cliques
Cause' peer pressure could present a problem
In school for the lessons but beastly bullies bring the...

Insinuations
Insinuations never even give a chance
Instead of the facts
You believe in what was said
Eating what you're fed
Sometimes things are not as they seem
The person with the crummy clothes could turn out as a king
Insinuations make divagated dreams
A brief intermission that wasn't scripted in our schemes
To take a guesstimate of what you don't understand
Applying all detriment to an ambiguous plan
But take another stance
Go and seek the truth
Gain understanding or take a seat and be a fool
And you can heed a clue in the...

Changes
See the world through flame colored glasses
Tear drops fall slower than molasses
Heed the autumn leaves
Falling off the trees at different speeds
Bald branches left standing in a desolate state
Similar to positions people take
Pandemonium awaits
Was it love or hate?
Who drew the line?
Within my eyes are the heartless cries
Cheerlessness lie
Not of my own
But the malformed faces
Gratuitous loans
Are the now owed payments
Charity had vanquished
Everybody's stuck on helping themselves
Abandoned all the empathy like it was left...

The Adulteress
All her paths are crooked but she knows it not
Ignoble blot
Knocked down into a plot
Checking over shows a lot
Lips drip well whelmed with honey
I tried to cancel out the feeling but it still was coming
What once was real is nothing
Oh those roguish looking eyes
An enamoring presence can quickly overcome the lies
Time to overcome the ties
Speech smoother than oil
A temperament of bitter gall
Mind's sharp as a sword

It's Okay
Don't think I don't know
Because I've peeped your agony
It had to be
The cause' of this feeling
Grabbing me
And actually
I've been trying to free my face from the tears
But now my fallen soldier is the one who's raised me for years
Now you're in constant pain
Every day
And never complained
Why does it have to be this way?
I could never explain
I couldn't stand to see you in this form of torment
I'd rather it me
The future seems a bit' distorted
Wouldn't know what to do if they had taken you away

Frozen In The Past
