Please Don't Get It Twisted
My life my life my life...
Insufficient...
In the trenches
Dig!
In a sense
Division within visions
Independent digging a ditch
Religious intermission
Then again...
The symphony switched
Sifting through the...
Siftings
Miss and slip and get it twisted
They so often do...
Don't place me on a pedestal
I will fall on you!
I had to learn how to walk
Yea I was crawling too...
Treat me like I'll learn to evolve and not like I'm renewed
And the scripted message I spread...
Is what I'm called to do
Spiritual and out...

I Want To See You Succeed
I can see the dedication!
For a very long time you were patient too
Chasing dreams...
Like an angry bear was chasing you
Staying cool under pressure
Full of moral fibre
With the courage of convictions for your normal trials
So a rolling stone gathers no moss
And they ain't lying...
Satan's trying those after the Cross
A little bird told me a little knowledge is a dangerous thing
A major pain or a way to place the hanks at bay
It's like trying to squeeze blood
From a turnip...
You can't help a person move if they wasn't determined...

Pandemonium...
I finally made it through the crowd
Fierce look with a million gazers
Booing loud!
I was shocked...
Even followers were spewing flout
But it's time to box
I don't care
Let's see what you about
Moving in the ring...

I Ain't Good Enough
I fail and I fail and I fail and I fail again
I thought it was supposed to make you better in the end
Not me!
Not perfect like I never bend
Give me just another month and then I'd be a better man
Maybe...
Crazy and ain't perfect by a longshot
Oh I'm in the right time but the wrong spot
Not worthy and I don't know a whole lot
Hoping God will answer me and show me what I know not!
No doubt...
I'm a prodigal son by far
Only cash, sin and violence used to run my heart
See I can't give up until I've done my part
Tell the enemy we're...

What The Hell
Complete strangers...
Talking like they know us
Pause...
What the hell is wrong with them?
Why am I your focus?
Those kids need a life...
That stupid hocus pocus came up after my rise
I swear the beef was bogus
Then I'd switch up my mind
They looked at that as weakness
In reality...
I made a covenant with Jesus
Nitpicking and petty talking is for the eagles
Proverbs told me to pray...
And God will handle demons
I kept my mouth close
Trust!
I was not afraid
A wise man doesn't entertain the devil's ways ...
Talking like they know us

What the hell is wrong with them?

Leaving The Past
They said I wouldn't make it
I wouldn't succeed...
Reality is your perspective

People with extreme sickness barely complain
The main ones raising hell are in fairly good shape
But this is for the down and out...
Not a penny to spare
Those rejected by the crowds
Now beginning to fare
Constructively...
Give the underprivilaged children something free!
I don't care what they need
Benignity...
Just come to me

From a crack in the road

This was last year
Thanksgiving came...
Hard times
Those circumstances didn't change
No cash no gas
Speeding...
Switching lanes!
Making sure my friends had food
Even in the rain
Backstabbed me...
So it hasn't been the same
Telling other people I'm the reason for the different ways
That's a lie...
People see what they want to
I never crossed a soul!
Hate and jealousy poked through
Listened to the lies

Blame me
You betray me...
Look down on or manipulate me
Hate me
Try to break me
Takes more than the calumny to shake me
Still lionhearted
The antagonism made me...

Got a son and it's all bad
Took a different route...
Dissed the people she called friends
Little self respect
Tossed it all in the hog pin!
The brother doesn't care...
Resenting his own son
The very definition of a kid if I know one
I seen him last night...
Certified nouveau riche
Homie brought a few elites!
Got a spot onto a beach
Getting plenty of money
But not a dime goes to his seed
And I'm not a hater
But homie's child is calling me

A Positive Figure
Our children need a positive figure
That change starts now...
Can we top the pretenders?
We are so much more than a plotting offender
Every one of us are special
We are not to surrender
To the evil minded scheme of this earth
Sempiternal battle...
It couldn't be any worse
From labor to birth into the streets and then a hearse
Perpetual cycle...
It just repeats and only hurts
We'd defeat the evil culprit with an arrow of truth
We should know the righteous path as the narrowest route
See society's a lie...
That's the harrowing news!...
That change starts now...
