Every Day...
Every day without you is really hard
but today, it just hurts so much more
you're spending your birthday in Heaven
and you'll never walk back in the door
Every day we think of your smile
of your loyalty, your amazing heart
about your fierce love for this family
how you were both beautiful and smart
Every day you are very sorely missed
we'd give anything to have you here
but for now we'll watch for the signs
that let us know that you are near
Every day as you're watching over us
we'll be sending our...

Twin Souls
once always there but since departed
incompleteness takes over control
twin souls through death are divided
leaving heartbreak one can not console
together since the moment life started
the loss makes one feel less than whole
while trying to live on without the other
endless sorrow takes its toll on the soul
one twin lives on for he and his brother
noble task, though separation takes a toll
trying to live life to the fullest for both
is a promise of love and an honorable goal
one day, when the twin souls are to be united...

The Bargain
Locked away in the dungeon of my master
chains keep me bound for his entertainment
a possession, not a cherished one at that
my only wish is, freedom from containment
Day after day, lonely, crying from heartache
my endless sorrow causes me to wish to die
this can't be all there will be for my life
must be something better and I'd love to try
One day a mighty storm rolled over head
wind winding the clouds high in the sky
crashing sounds, roof is yanked up and away
master never came to get me, wish I knew why

Evil coils toward it's crafty temptation
where forbode fruit so sweetly beckons;
slight of hand plays sinister illusion
securing Lucifer's ominous expectations
Knowledge bestowed by provocation
burdens the soul with conditions;
calamity promised in whispered caution
farseeing power begets venomous poisons

Spirit Guide **
Faithful, continuously there at your side
relentless, guards you with a fierce pride
Reliable, will never knowingly misguide
dependable, loyalty will never be denied
Compassionate, suffered every tear you cried
eternal, won't forsake you once you have died
Be thankful to your own spirit guide
a blessing that your soul was supplied
I cherish mine with my heart open wide
and feel his ubiquity deep down inside
