POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
Enthusiastic amature... Words and Music are the only ways I can express myself :D
Merged aliases
Emotions I have tried to bury
Battles I have tried to fight
Appearances I have tried to uphold
Opinions I have tried to keep positive.
With stress in both environments,
Where is my safe haven?
I can't keep pretending
My aliases are merging.
Happy, enthusiastic school girl who will take on any task.
Supportive daughter who's biggest goal is to please mother.
Now I am neither - I can't be either.
School: Smiles when people are looking and keeps head down.
Home: Cries in privete when the door is closed and hides in room.

The truth (Co written with Alice May Jones)
Am I attention seeking?
Tell me,
Is hiding everything seeking for the spotlight?
Now take this into consideration,
Please tell me,
Have you ever seen me flash my scars around?
Have you ever seen me crying?
No,
I didn’t think so.
Now, let me tell you how it really is,
How I try everything I can to hide the tears that are leaking,
How hard I try to put on an act,
Just so you won’t judge me because of your incorrect fact.
How many times have we Gone through the motions of "How are you?" / "I'm fine."

A Mother's protection, a promise
Mummy, I can’t sleep.
There are demonic scenes that continuously harass me.
They know what memories to access;
what buttons to press;
they’re good at depriving me
of my rest.
It’s like an internal cinema,
‘Twisted Pictures presents...’
...the thoughts you locked in the safe
Inside your head.
I’m left to discuss this with myself,
Though all I can do is argue.
Mummy make it better
I beg you.

Plight in Pride
So you can’t choke from swallowing your own pride?
Well I chocked the prick that hurt mine.
With my hands,
ample time.
Thumbs over windpipe;
pressure applied.
He said he loved me –
turns out he lied.
Lips blue,
bloodshot eyes;
he looked pathetic -
little surprise.
Body limp,
not lifeless;
Gasping expressions -
priceless.
Foot ready.
Love’s for fools.
Drew my size six back
and kicked his balls.
Now a foetal position,
justice is done.
Tried to mess with me;
as ever – pride one.

Society's cage (Co written with mycoffeekilljoy)
I’m not my own person.
I’m society’s prodigy.
I’ve many favourable qualities,
none of them worthy.
Continuous corruption,
From both friends and foes.
The false sense of acceptation -
That we’re each forced to know.
The breath of their lies,
companions to the end.
Fill the white space,
Between my foes and my friends.
Consider my death
that of society’s doing.
Codes of disparage,
Continuous ruin.
The broken remains of tainted dreams;
dust eyes to see me,
determine who I am to be - ...

Cryptic confessions
By assumption – self harm is cutting,
a glimmer of a blade,
a scar for reminding.
Allow me the chance to shed understanding.
“I’m fine” becomes habit -
A coded catchphrase.
If I’m good you’ll believe it
Accept it, and walk away.
I’ll smile when I know you’re looking,
join in when you’re all laughing,
add my own jokes -
but inside I’m dying.
I don’t want to die,
or cut myself;
but what I can’t do
is call for help.
I’m emotionally damaged
stunted, if you will.
I am my own teacher - ...

Depictions of animalistic desire (co written with Slowgasm)
Pale skin,
still heart,
guarded secrets -
welcome to the start
A trip home,
on a wet stormy night;
the cold was biting,
I pulled my coat tight,
Shadows moved
In mysterious ways.
Should I have come here?
My mind reappraised.
Figures took on
many shapes.
Thoughts of killings,
murders and rapes.
Hungry eyes leered up and down;
Few souls around,
mummy warned me about this part of town.
Helpless little me.
Bound, gagged, positioned and stripped. ...

To death, I say thanks.
Too afraid to move, broken and bloody;
I’m an innocent creature awaiting slaughter.
The sounds of cries screeched around me,
one being a mother crying for her daughter.
Attacked and alone,
wrong place, wrong time.
And a thought occurred,
where’s that family of mine?
I jumped to my feet,
as quickly as sprains would allow,
dazed and confused,
I needed to find them, but I didn’t know how.
How could they have left me?
Had they been taken?
I had planned the day,
my choice! I was mistaken.
Frantically I searched...

Veiled weep
There’s a lot of pain in the world,
And yet it found me.
You’ll say I can’t complain,
but it’s attacking my family.
Members are missing -
Not likely to come back.
What’s left feels weak;
they were prepared with their attack.
At first I didn’t know who to blame,
I felt alone and discarded.
But I decided to fight alone;
Silent cries and heavy hearted
It hurt at first,
Though I guess I grew from it;
Developed as a person,
and benefited.
We’ll get them back.
I’ll stop hurting.
Regain...

Coded Revelations
It’s a societal belief that you can’t have both, brains and beauty. However, I know an individual who just so happens to embody both of these qualities, among many favourable others.
It started with one line; a veiled clue, if you will, among friends; followed by a long discussion regarding his love interest – and hers. The two basked in each other’s virtual company waiting for the next moment they would see each other again.
The two discussed the delicious topic for long weeks under a code name. Outsiders were told of their situation, many were accepting of it - though in...

Life is an experiment
Life is an experiment
A formula of choices,
devised by the professors’ voices.
Life expectations tend to be
Unpredictable reactions
for untested concoctions, formed from calculations.
Realise your place on the Reactivity Scale.
The world is the water, are you Lithium or Francium when dropped.
Reasonable questions, are you asking them?
You can live a controlled assessment,
Or a free style investigation,
Lead my precautions either way.
You’re no more than a hypothesis.
You’re planned from the start – life’s slow

Lauren's ultimatum
(Written to support my book [no completed yet], ‘Lauren’s’ message to ‘Mr. Hull’)
Does my age put you of?
Does your role take control?
Are you as confused as I am?
Let me know.
If you’re a teacher then teach me,
Enlighten me, please.
I’m a proud individual
I’ll no beg on my knees.
One moment we have something,
The nest you’re gone.
Was it me? Was it you?
What went wrong?
Give up the lies! Give me a clue1
Make your decision.
Hurry up an choose.
I can’t stay forever,
I don’t think I...
