~Death By Dally~
Slimy, decaying flesh
Rotted out eyes
Slipping down the carcass
An untimely demise
Brain corroded to mush
Skull fractured and cracked
Limbs torn and cut
Torso now abstract
Teeth of sharp shrapnel
Torn into bits
Up to the pearly gates?
Or down to the pits?
Where will you have gone
My last little friend
When I take your life
And send you to the end

~See You Then~
I remember the day
I took my own life
I was so alone with all
The struggle and strife
The morning hurt
But I rolled out of bed
Ignoring the voices
Screaming in my head
It started off the same
With fake laughs and smiles
As I walked down the hall
Counting floor tiles
Then my first class
With you, my friend
The night hadn't started
But my day was almost to the end
I took a seat
Tried to ignore
When I said hello
The sour look you bore
It's amazing how
One little thing
Like a domino...
I took my own life
I was so alone with all
The struggle and strife

I've wasted two years
And all this time
You've continued falling
Out of your prime
You look so weak
And act so frail
Always complaining that
You're doomed to fail
I've told you before
I'll tell you then
You're amazing
This isn't pretend
You're so self-concious
You hate your slender frame
Why is it when something's wrong
I am always the one you blame?
You're a terrible liar
When you say it's okay
But when you cry
I can't look the other way
I comfort you cautiously

A man and his box
A long way from home
Telling stories of aliens
Robotic men and Rome
This man took his box
Mad as he was
And ran far away
Escaping his flaws
A significant sound
This box created
The man ran again
I knew he was ill-fated
He brought me along
Only for a short time
But again we ran

He told me the story
Of others like he
Who they were
And what they would be

Memories drifting
Like Headlights at night
Approaching too quickly
Always too bright
Slam on the breaks
I'm on a crash course
Screams of agony
Jerked by the force
Tinkling glass
Sharp as your eyes
A beautiful sound
Like your sweet lies
Blood spilling slowly
From a relationship wreck
Killed on impact
The toll broke my neck
Head on collision
The end of my reign
You caused my screams
Then silenced my pain
Like Headlights at night

Cold hard cider
Skull of a kitten
Four suicide letters
Meticulously written
Sharp little knives
Slipping time borrowed
Thirteen miscellaneous
Blue pills swallowed
Heavy ocean eyes
Swimming in sorrow
Hope now lost
Unable to see tomorrow
A long cherry bath
Darker by the second
Slipping to unconsciousness

But the trigger won't pull
Drowning in thoughts

Heavy metal and pop
Whispering sweet nothings
Down by the bus stop
A smile like the sun
Eyes of graphite grey
Writing little notes
Of things she wants to say
He was bluebird shy
With little half grins
She was an outcast
Hair leaking bobby pins
He liked cold winters
And reading in the snow
She preferred summer
Reading by the window
Two streets over
Three houses down
Brisk, late night walks
All through the town

Late one night,
Stars in the skies
I could feel the
Tears prick my eyes
I dialed your number
Because I couldn't remember
What your voice sounded like
For the last five Decembers
Your voicemail gave me hope
You sounded the same as before
But I knew in my heart
It wasn't you anymore
You've been gone for so long
I can't remember your face
At least you finally escaped
This terrible place
Sometimes I wonder
If you saw me today
Would you smile at me
Or would you turn away?
I'm so confused...

Pencil shaving smiles
Paint splattered eyes
Drops of the rainbow
Fall as he cries
Tears of blue, red, purple
Pink, yellow, and green
Next black and greys
For the darkness he's seen
His body is his canvas
The razor is his brush
Sometimes, it's merely scratches
Others, it's deep and lush
Strokes of red
Strokes of maroon
Paint dries too quickly
Life ends too soon
Lonely little painting
Hanging on her wall
The last one he made
Before he took the fall
There's a man on a ledge
Looking down...

I used to cut
And I used to bleed
But now I have memories
And that's all I need
Every time I believe
When you say you're coming back
I always hold my breath
Until my vision turns to black
I deserve your anger
I deserve your pain
I couldn't help you
So I am the one to blame
When blood drips down my wrist
I feel my heart begin to race
My veins pound and stretch
A feeling of man-made grace
I suppose I am addicted
To this sadness that you bring
When I dare to remember you
I'm left...
