What do you dream
Is it love or is it pain
Do you dream of your past
Of who you became
The nightmares or hopes
The things you hold inside
Trying to find yourself
And not get lost within the tide
Looking for happiness
To forge a way through
To make it your life
The light inside grew

But yet trapped by fate

Passion
I stopped writing because I lost passion
Lost belief in all my actions
I tried to make a statement
But this fear is everlasting
So much has held me back
Its hard to stay intact
For the ropes are tied around me
And its hard to stay compact
This truth i am confessing
My soul i am expressing
Trying to find a way out
But all this shit is so depressing
So many who misinterpret
I try to ride the circuit
But crash and burn
I question whether it's worth it
I love getting my thoughts out ...

Know the Truth
I want to know the truth
Detect what was a lie
Open up my mind
And tear down the disguise
Find the answer above
Search for the holy grail
Of knowledge I've yet to know
This boat I'm set to sail
The shadows direct the darkness
And the light shines from within
All these thoughts combine
As I struggle to ascend
To accept what is a fact
But all I see are guesses
Nothing ever known

All Alone
This is my story
And I know its getting hard
To find the hope inside
As I look out to the stars
No idea on who I'm meant to be
Or where I'm meant to go
Time to fight my shadow
Let my fury be known
A magician in the making
A king is on the throne
The subjects all upon him
But yet the kings all alone
Too stuck in his inner maze
To find the truth within a lie
His heart breaking with every step
Left behind to simply die
A hero becomes the villain
The victim becomes the issue
The world is unfair ...
And I know its getting hard
To find the hope inside

I try to make magic
I'm brewing up a recipe
Because dinner will be made
Like a painter, here's my masterpiece
I try to fight from within
The stars may align
The storms may pass by
As we create a greater design
My world is on fire
The flames are ignited
The water flows through

My lesson of the largest tide

What to believe
Nothing in life is clear
Or even close to certain
More than just one way
To look beyond the curtain
Left is the same as right
Right is the same as wrong
Because it's all up in your mind
None of it was real along
We give names to what is nameless
We give order to the wild
And at the very end
We teach it to a child
But the truth feels like a lie
And your heart is tricked by it
Told what you will do
For your story's already writ
Can't break these chains that bind you
Afraid to see...

The birds sing a song
The water flows downhill
The grass grows around
And nothing sitting still
The sun shines above
The clouds travel by
The cattle will roam
As we look to the sky
The trees tell a story
The critters, they will listen
The mission for a few
And what do they mention
For home is unknown
But its there all along
Wondering where at
Where do we belong
The beauty of silence
A moment of peace
I release all my demons
And my worries will cease

Break my fear
The sea of life
The stars do shine
One peaceful light
A dream of mine
I think I might
For now my time
A hopeful knight
And will I find

The hardest climb
To be alright

A part of me
I put my hand on the revolver
I try to learn as I'm a scholar
Grab the shirt, I pull the collar
In the dirt, I find a dollar
I try to sit and stand much taller
And to problems, I'm a solver
I'm a man of true untold mystery
I'm a hero and this is my victory
I'm an archeologist discovering history
I speak truth, its not close to contradictory
I'm making chicken, let's call it rotisserie
The lightning strikes, we create electricity
I'm a shadow causing mayhem
Deflecting bullets as you spray em
