Running
Eye lids heavy
Equivalent to cement
Arms hurt to move
Legs paralyzed yet in pain
My head practically numb
Besides pain I can only feel the cold
The ice that seem to cling to me
I couldn't run from it
Not at my fastest speeds
The frost outside was a constant reminder
The moon and stars shone bright
As I sprinted for 10 miles
My lungs felt defected
Not taking in the amount of air
That I desired
Small sips of cool crisp oxygen
I ran so far away from home
That wasn't my home
I would never have a home...

Slumber
The hand has not yet
Reached for infinity
All the while
I am still
And just as tired
Infinity is to long
Of a wait
For my eyes to close
My heart to slow
And for hibernation to start
I can not
Wait for infinity
But my hands are ice
And winter is here
Farewell;
Shall I never see infinity
Or what could have been
Sweet blissful dreams
Although you are lies
I beg of you to
Ease my suffering
And
give
me
internal
peace
Reached for infinity
All the while
I am still
And just as tired
Infinity is to long
Of a wait
For my eyes to close
My heart to slow
And for hibernation to start
I can not
Wait for infinity
But my hands are ice
And winter is here
Farewell;
Shall I never see infinity
Or what could have been
Sweet blissful dreams
Although you are lies
I beg of you to
Ease my suffering
And

me
internal
peace

New York's Lullaby
Sirens singing
Cars screaming
Lights peeking
Rain dancing
No silence
In a city
That refuses to sleep
Only chaos
My fucked little lullaby
With one comforting fact
I am not an actor
In this feature
But rather
An audience member
Just waiting for the
Next circus act
Cars screaming
Lights peeking
Rain dancing
No silence
In a city
That refuses to sleep
Only chaos
My fucked little lullaby

Can You Hear Me?
Life is forever changing
Nothing stays the same
No matter how hard you try
One can plead, scream, pray
Nothing will help one freeze time
Situations change
People change
People leave
People die
Loved ones die
Children becoming orphans
Orphans . . . like me
Who discovered
There cold still mother
With no adults around
Almost a year has gone by
The ghostly image of my own
Mother's face
Frozen, stiff
Her mouth open from snoring
Slightly curled
I hope she was not scared
Oh, I miss you
I took...

Free Falling
Arms out, feet together
Now shift the weight
From your heels
To your toes
Inhale the death
That awaits
On the rigid rocks
Staggered at the bottom
Of the cliff
Falling?
Try flying
Through the air
Through the clouds
Flying towards freedom
Should the gates
Of heaven still open
For a sinner like me?
No?
Because I wanted to be free?
To escape from fates grip
To create a destiny
That I desired
To create a destiny
Where I am free
Now shift the weight
From your heels
To your toes
Inhale the death
That awaits

Heart racing
Blood pumping
Tears pouring
Words hysterical

Friendship?
Or life?
My choice
No guidance

Courage?
Fear surfacing
No answer
I'm too late

Poison
Embrace
The fearful shadows
The haunting doubts
The crowd of terrors
The anxiety that I choke on
The depression society feeds on
The Scarlett red that drips down my arm
The paint brush in my right hand
As the art work on my arm screams with red
When nothing is left but to embrace the pain
To hug the blades tight and long
The sweet release of poison
That is intertwined with my blood
Poison that must be drained
Poison that must be removed
Poison that has no cure
No voodoo man can help me
I must embrace it
Embrace it before...

The Ultimate Competition
This world is black or white
Mine is black, suffocating and tight
It's a war I don't wish to fight
Life's grip is slipping
The scale seems to be tipping
Death has the upper hand
My hour glass is running out of sand
Piece by piece it drops away
Preparing my grave; where I must stay
Death controls my destiny
While I control no man or sea
But there is away to defeat the reaper
To skip some steps and become my own keeper
Escalate my depression
Blame it on my lack of expression
My life was meant to end...

Breath of Liberty
Sipping on the acidic smoke
Testing, experimenting, discovering
Discovering the burn that itches the back of my throat
The strange aroma almost appealing
The toxic fumes filled my lungs
It was not painful nor was it pleasureful
Rather enticing on one hand
Not the substance
But the situation
Being bad; not worrying of consequences
To fill my lungs was to force away redemption
Whether it be redemption I wanted or not
In the eyes of believers I had made my choice long ago
My liking the beautiful gentle appearance of females as well as males...
