POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
Many of my poems are inspired by writers such as H.P. Lovecraft, and the notorious Poe. Anything dark and macabre is my forte. The subjects of my poems do not always reflect my emotions, rather it is me empathizing for others.
The Drop
Where once I stood J
A precarious cliff
The abyss below
With silence in tow
Two thoughts came U
I should jump
And I should jump
With me gone M
They'll lack a pawn
No one left
To beat upon
Or maybe I should stay P
It's just another day
At least it's not raining ...
A precarious cliff
The abyss below
With silence in tow
Two thoughts came U
I should jump
And I should jump
With me gone M
They'll lack a pawn
No one left
To beat upon
Or maybe I should stay P
It's just another day
At least it's not raining ...

Malicious Maestro
Here am I, next to you
Are you liking the view?
Here we are, at the start
Where we both fell apart
Yes this day you will rue
Here's your grave, it is new
I'll avenge my bleeding heart
And your death, a work of art
Count your breaths, they are few
Ditch for one, not for two
On your soul I'll leave a scart
This is where our stories part
Are you liking the view?
Here we are, at the start
Where we both fell apart
Yes this day you will rue
Here's your grave, it is new
I'll avenge my bleeding heart
And your death, a work of art

On your soul I'll leave a scart

Feral Beasts
It is not my place to ask why the Meadowlark sings
It is not my place to ask why the wind blows fair
In the absence of human life, the trees are my muse
In the absence of fire, the snow is my blanket
I would rather die, to the natural maws of a lion
Than to the maws of the progress of man
For nature knows its place
It does not question its existence
The laws of the jungle may be cruel
But far less cruel than the laws of the waning, war-torn world of mankind
It is not my place to ask why the wind blows fair
In the absence of human life, the trees are my muse
In the absence of fire, the snow is my blanket
I would rather die, to the natural maws of a lion

Signs
Is this my life?
Walking the halls a ghost
Walking the streets a phantom in the crowd
The ground beneath my tattered boots
The ache in my bones travels to my heart
Just as the sun rises, I am the moon
The happiness of others is reflected off of me
Just as the wind blows, I am the piece of trash that drifts down the street
You wouldn't pick me up, for fear of dirtying your hands
Each time you are full, I am empty
When you are nothing, everything's true beauty shines through
I see the stars, and am thankful I...

The Alderman's Noose
Curse, curse, the alderman's noose!
Curse, curse, hell let loose!
To the gallows I did walk
In the crowd death did stalk
Curse, curse, the alderman's noose!
Curse, curse, hell let loose!
In a moment, a short drop
In a moment, a swift stop
Curse, curse, the alderman's noose!
Curse, curse, hell let loose!
The rope tightens around my neck
On my flesh the crows did peck
Haunt, haunt, the alderman's thought!
Hell, hell, I hath brought!
Curse, curse, hell let loose!
To the gallows I did walk
In the crowd death did stalk
Curse, curse, the alderman's noose!

Breaking, Broke, Broken
I need a break
One moment
One chance
That feeling
Of content
Before collapse
I'm breaking
I'm broke
I am broken

One chance
That feeling
Of content
Before collapse
I'm breaking
I'm broke
I am broken

Lonely Traveler
One lonely night, I traips'd 'long a f'rgotten road
A ray shown through, on mine own visage a whey-face lighteth wast bestow'd
Not warmeth liketh the sun, t chill'd me to the bone
And yet, its sight warm'd mine own heart of stone
Aye, the bitter cold broth'r of our radiant god in the sky
Sc'rn'd by many, a teareth did escape mine own eye
Mine own gazeth ling'r'd high, on the celestial sky pool
In t, the reflection of a fool

Failure
Is the essence of one's self truly dependent on the accomplishments of that individual? Or is the meaning of gratification deeper than that, the act of rebounding after failure. Very rarely is success accomplished after one attempt. For to achieve in one try, is the culmination of multiple failures. The recollection of failure, and the implementation of change, all lead to the correct process. Just as a dog is trained to please its master, do we not as people want to please ourselves? So we vigorously train, never wanting to feel the despair of failure ever again. Always wanting to please our...

My Phantom Temptress
The first recollection I have, I was the age of 8
Only glimpses had I seen of her
I payed no mind, for it wasn't my interest
At age 9 I began to see her frequently
I noted her vivacious appearance
Long black hair, hazel eyes, and a gentle smile
This intrigued me
At 10, we began conversing together
She was much more mature in her mentality than I
Physically, she was the image of envy and beauty
We were only acquaintances until age 12
The connection was made when we held hands for the first time

Flesh of the Fallen
Wrought with rot of wounds that time forgot
Faces of the dead and living, all were distraught
He galloped through time, continents, and many places
From battle to battle, race to race, he left bloody traces
His steed was a red colored horse
Sword in hand he utilized brute force
It is said he is one of four
His name....The Horseman of War

A Chamber of Eyes
I closed my eyes and was confined to sleep
Never before had I delved so deep
There was nothing, no sound, not a peep
Alone in the black, a door lay before me
It's appearance was grotesque, bleak, abhorredly
In its center was an eye that couldn't ignore me
I mustered some courage, to the door I approached
The oculus was furious that I had encroached
For a second I faltered, but pushed past my reproach
Walking in to a chamber of eyes
I felt my panic begin to arise
The impending doom, awaiting my demise

Ragnarök of the Lambs
In this day and age the shepherd has neglected his sheep
The flock follow him anyway
To their death they would follow him
For when the fences of society fall
The opportunistic wolves stalk their prey
In that moment, they are true lambs to the slaughter
The white coat of innocence stained red with the blood of dillusion
Bleets of confusion echo in the pastures of ill made decisions
The once green grass is now dead
I have said wolves are opportunists
Do not underestimate desperation
When it is a wolf in shepherds...
The flock follow him anyway
To their death they would follow him
For when the fences of society fall
The opportunistic wolves stalk their prey
In that moment, they are true lambs to the slaughter
The white coat of innocence stained red with the blood of dillusion
Bleets of confusion echo in the pastures of ill made decisions
