Lonely Traveler

One lonely night, I traips'd 'long a f'rgotten road
A ray shown through, on mine own visage a whey-face lighteth wast bestow'd

Not warmeth liketh the sun, t chill'd me to the bone
And yet, its sight warm'd mine own heart of stone

Aye, the bitter cold broth'r of our radiant god in the sky
Sc'rn'd by many, a teareth did escape mine own eye

Mine own gazeth ling'r'd high, on the celestial sky pool
In t, the reflection of a fool

Author's Note
I once had to learn how to write in an Elizibethan english style. I thought it might be fun to see what I remembered, and write a poem. It might not be for everyone though. Hope you enjoy.
