Denial
Denial is the hardest pill to swallow
Do you follow?
Full of ourselves
But inside
We're hollow
Digging the hole deeper
How are we to get out
When the sides only get steeper
Common affliction
Choke down denial
Pretending its fiction
Starting to heat up
Do you feel the friction?
How did it start?
Where does this end?
Broken hearts
Need to mend

Cut me loose
Breaking rules with no excuse
Caught in a web, please cut me loose
I'm a bomb, you lit my fuse
I'll explode, nothing to lose
Add some booze, expand the flames
So fucking done with all your games
Ignorant and inconsiderate
Safe to say I'm sick of it
Can't keep up with your bullshit
So I'll just take another hit
Your cause had an effect
So immature, you lost my respect
Look in a mirror, try to reflect
Don't wanna hold a grudge
I have no right to judge
Just hope you learn
Wanna put out the fire
But I'm watching...

Illusions
Where do we go, go from here?
Searching for the right atmosphere
I just wish things were crystal clear
But things aren't as they appear
Can't seem to grasp
The need to let go
Going in circles
Getting vertigo
The source of all the woe
I am quite aware
But will I ever know?
That I learn too slow
That I think too fast
That I'm just....
Fixated on the past
And when I realize its a waste
So much time has passed...
