I just want to get you thinking,
Especially if it's in your head that your shit isn't stinking,
You probably don't realize society is sinking,
So Don't get offended I'm just trying to get you thinking.
Sometimes life brings happiness and Sometimes life brings pain,
But It's not supposed to be a roller coaster or a hurricane,
Just take a moment to appreciate the rain,
So please abstain from calling me a stain,
even though you think I'm stained,
When You Claimed to have a brain even though you've got no thoughts to claim,
I'm not trying to...

Get you thinking
Sometimes life brings happiness and Sometimes life brings pain,
But It's not supposed to be a roller coaster or a hurricane,
Just take a moment to appreciate the rain,
So please abstain from calling me a stain,
even though you think I'm stained,
Claimed to have a brain even though you've got no thoughts to claim,

But being conformist is kinda lame,
From the height of an airplane,

Falling into silence
Am I falling a part?
I push, you push, a strike to the heart;
Am I falling apart?
I don't even know where to start;
Security, confidence, serenity;
they all feel so far from me;
And then I remember the beauty;
Sunrise, sunset, the blowing wind;
Giving me peace of mind;
Sometimes I think that I'm too kind;
Sometimes I think that I'm too cold;
Lack of worth, it's getting old;
Up and down and all around, souls getting bought and sold;
For so much less then what their worth;
The inequality would astound, or at least that's what I'm told;...

Maybe
Maybe it's not that I have nothing to say to you,
Maybe what I have to say there's no telling what it could do,
Maybe it's because if you were to respond I'd have no idea what's true,
Maybe it's cause it seems like every time I open my mouth my words always get twisted,
Maybe I should just be straightforward now,
Maybe it's cause every time I see you all I see is the pain you caused,
Maybe it's cause every word out of my mouth burns like napalm,
Maybe it's cause you lit my soul on fire and now these words are just the agonized screams of an inferno just trying to...

Not Right
Wake up, walk talk work party fuck,
There's gotta be more to life I'm stuck,
In the muck running out of luck,
Caught up in a whirlpool or the riptide,
It's ok I'm cool no problems on the inside,
Those are the lies that I tell them,
Those are the words that I sell them,
But this world is too cold to give a damn,
Anxiety is a hurricane not a small storm,
Depression is a Nor'easter like where Im from,
Buried under the snow,
Caught in the eye but lost in the flow,
The center of the storm is a no go,
Right and wrong twisting like a tornado,...

A hidden pain
What is pain?
Is it loss or is it gain?
A loss of love Or a gain of strength,
Take a deep breath give it some length,
Inhale exhale let it all out,
There's so much to cry about,
So scream and shout,
Just Verbalize the doubt,
They say our world is dying,
Can we make it through?
I still see people trying,
But what more can we do?
A bottle, a blunt, a line, a needle,
Anything we can just to not feel,
Till our lives fade to black,
And our soul is driven into the abyss,
There's no coming back,
No telling who's going to miss,...

Confession
This is a confession,
Of my transgression,
Please I don't want to lessen,
My value in your eyes,
But I feel like I'm in disguise,
Hiding behind these lies,
But I've given it so many tries,
Tear drops reign over a thousand skies,
Wondering if I'll ever find reprise,
Cause you see sex isn't love and love isn't sex,
It's not a naked picture that you send through a text,
It's not a midnight booty call and then on to the next,
It's not her perfect body and it's not the guy who always looks flexed,
It's not shallow but these days what else can...

What breaks the spirit:
True love. Can it be?
Or is it just a fantasy,
feeding into vanity,
Injuring my sanity,
doubting the man in me,
Soul is shouting out profanity,
is love just a tall tale?
From a generation now dead or frail,
That ship has set sail,
Now we need to blaze our own trail,
Cause all the meaninglessness is getting stale,
A hopeless romantic,
Heart feeling frantic,
taken for granted,
Hoping searching wishing waiting,
Wanting to be more then just your plaything,
Didn't just bring a heart to the table brought everything,

You've been beat down abused and bruised totally used,
But don't get it confused,
You're worth more than you know,
You can water a plant but can't make it grow,
I could raise a baby but I can't make it you,

On just what you can do,

The internal conflict
How could I think these demons could leave me,
When it's really the demons that conceived me,
And it's my heart that deceives me,
My mind is like the waters of the deep sea,
Dive down dive down dive down,
Keep going deeper until you drown,
Angels try to hand me the crown,
They tell me to do good they tell me to do right,
Is there any end in sight?
In this world I feel like a blight,
Heavenly hosts reaching out in the night,
They tell me to spread my wings and just take flight,
But all I've got is bruised and broken feathers,
Charred remains...

My misunderstood friend (the story of a failed suicide)
Everybody thinks that you're so cold,
You've been around for a while that's what I'm told,
We met when my grandpa passed I was 2 months old,
I've always felt protected by you even when life was less then gold,
Then when I got older I got to know you better,
Searing pain branding brought us closer together,
You like to visit car crashes and hospitals even newborn babies,
You only have one hobby and most people think it's crazy,
You thrive on war and violence,
But you never get to say how sweet is the silence,
At all times you're surrounded by quiet,...

To everyone who ever hated me
When I was young I didn't feel much love,
My parents were telling me it came from above,
I didn't really see it cause every kid at school wanted to give me shove,
Peer pressure and bullying,
Every word hits like a bee sting,
But see knowledge is power,
So make use of every hour,
Before this life makes us sour,
We weren't sent here to devour,
We weren't sent here to cower,
If life makes you feel dirty then go take a shower,
Even then Some uncleanliness can't be washed away,
