Slipped #1
You was doing so well
But then you fell,
Don't let this drag you
To the place you called hell.
Don't over think
It was only a few drinks,
You've been there before
And you'll do it again,
The past will resurface
It Will cause up a stir,
For them that don't show
Clearly don't know,
People have lives
Just watch out for knives,
For those that do
You should stick to like glue,
All will be well
Lets get out of this hell
But then you fell,
Don't let this drag you

Why can't we ?
As we wake again
In this broken world
Controlled by faceless beings
We must ask ourselves Why
We can't do the things we want
Unless we get the nod
From some unscrupulous bastard
Who sits inside their tower,
Break free
Do the things you want
As long as no pays
In this broken world

Rekindle
As I dropped my guard
You simply didn't regard
How difficult and hard
It was to open up those scar's,
You put your fingers right in
that dark old bin
Of feelings and trust
That had been taken and thrust
And Turned into dust,
You conjured up
Some love and trust
That was much needed but lost,
We traveled the world
Together as one
No one can break
The love that shone,
Now times are tough
We must be strong
Rekindle that bond,
For Forever and more
Lets open the door ...

Drifting back
Constant craving the devil's brew,
it's that time, It's my cue.
Three steps forward,but then down the hill,
Oh how I've missed that little blue pill,
The body's renewed I'm sure it's fine
It cannot hurt one more time,
I can already feel the carefree state
To which I've longed to relate,
It won't last I know this much
In the safety of my little warm clutch
Before I know the sweats will come
Then I'll wish I was done,
But for now I'll enjoy
Swimming where no-one think's
It's always nice being on the brink ...
it's that time, It's my cue.

Lost love ? maybe?
Whistling winds
Through swaying tree's
Rain lashed down
Our body's drenched
But warm too touch,
We did not care,
I remember your face
I can see it now,
We could not stay
In each others arms,
Knowing we would only
Cause much harm,
Maybe in another life
When we wouldn't
Cause much strife,
As the rain subsides
We see our chance
One more kiss
Then one last glance,
Goodbye my love
My one true friend,
Yours forever

Empty heart
Uneasy thoughts
Time to talk
Not sure I can,
I've had my chance
No more last dance
Don't want to be
This shell of the man.
When under the spell
happy and free

It was killing me.

Lost pals
How can it be,
Were Friends no more,
When it was you,
Who said shut the door,
On the drink and drugs,
That kept me afloat,
Like a steady boat,
The doors are closed,
I'm afresh, Clean and smart,
Our laughing stopped,
But I won't go back,
If our friendship failed,
Because now I see,
It wasn't fun when,
You all laughed at me,
Were Friends no more,
When it was you,
Who said shut the door,

Numb
How can one love
If they cannot feel,
You broke my soul
While kicking my heart,
I try not to mention
For I may well crumble,
But Writing may ease
When all's down on a canvas,
Lonely drifting from
Place to place
Never finding those safe
feelings and looks
Of a true magical soul,
You stole my youth,
And banished my friends,
The secrets I told you
Was not yours to share
Of a Childhood scarred
By the ones I loved,
I hope some day karma will come
And repay you from
The hurt you cast upon ...

As you left
I knew deep down
These memories won't fade

As the door slammed shut
A chapter had ended
Never to be given another chance
No more last glance
As the car pulled off
The cigarette still burns
turns to ash like our love
And the dreams
We shared
I hope your well

that treats you well

The world's my oyster
But my mum's my pearl,
My dad's my inspiration
And my guide,
For I did fall

Broken dreams
Drifting away in a cloud of dust
Memories fade of what once was
Laughter and beers in random park
Sitting gazing into the the dark,
Carefree souls unafraid to dream
Never before felt to loved
Touching embracing the cool night breeze
Drifting away in a cloud of smoke
We'd sit and watch as the fire danced
Young, inquisitive no-one could break
Our love was never gonna be replaced
The world was going to be our canvass
The plans the dreams the best intentions
Came crashing down like a child's tantrums
Memories fade of what once was
