A time to despair
A time to despair
I hear it in the air
Internal sirens sound
Panick abound
What if, what if?
What if I loose it all?
What if I stray and fall?
Towards the dark abyss?
When you look into the mirror
And all you see is failure
Let light shine on your heart
The light of what you've been through
Say, have you never fallen?
Never gotten up again?
Let each such time be a sun
To guide you through the rain
A mother's love has taught me this
Do not, do NOT surrender

The moment that means everything
The waves stayed quiet
No guns, no riot
Peace and calm
Gave way to boredom
The curse of always searching
For reason song and ryhme
For "the moment" to be mine
For something that's sublime
It is the curse of humans
For passion we destroy
Which was already perfect
In search for more, we loose existing joy
Oh choir from the heavens
Why can't you always sing?
Your song that must remind us
Of nobility within
Oh noble creature, listen
to inner stream and song
You're a star, born of...

The Shadow Hunter
I feel it on me sometimes
This gaze, this frightening gaze
As I run through life's maze
He's haunting me with his footsteps
And his doomsday rhymes
I feel him near
The shadow hunter
Shadows of the past he brings with him
Memories of unforgotten sin
Future tragedy his claws
Scenes where all you can do
Is to clutch at straws
Hopelessness is always just a breath away
When he makes his way
Into your life
When he brings the shadows
Will you haunt me til my days are done?
Will there never...

Seven wishes
Beyond the doors of my heart
I feel them once again
I feel the pain
Of seven wishes
One is for a child and a wife
One just for an enjoyable life
One for the greatest song and rhyme
One for ever more and more time
One for those who passed to live again
One for a life without suffering and pain
One for my efforts to not be in vain
The fifth and the sixth
Are the greatest of them
When will this feeling go away
Of never enough, never enough
More more more!
It is such a chore
To chase...
I feel them once again
I feel the pain
Of seven wishes
One is for a child and a wife
One just for an enjoyable life

I entered your life
As a child in your arms
Your love is what warms
To this day
Where will you go when it's time?
How can you ever be gone?
There's no giving up
On love, hope and trust
Your teachings live on

Who foresee the end
And say we are rotten

Inside the mindfire
This is a rhyme and a story I tell
About a place where for years I dwelled
It was a place of corrupted desire
I walked, breathed and slept
Inside the mindfire
When I lost a loved one, I couldn't let go
My heart refused to listen and know
The wisdom of gratitude and the freedom of tears
And so my mind surrendered to irrational fears
Count to three and then all is well
No wait, someone else is going to hell
If I don't count to five
What a number filled life!
Turn your head right or the children will die ...

Until the end
Now I know
Now it is real to me
The intellectual and far away
Has become a cloud
Now I know
Of a storm on the horizon
The storm will gather
Maybe over years
Maybe over just months
Your death in the future
Weeks, months, years, lost is lost, isn't it
So what does it matter?
It matters because I will make it matter
Every moment I am with you
Always was, but more so now is
A gift, given to us
Every memory means future tears
But every memory also means bliss
I will live

In the wasteland, in the valley
Where no streams flow lie the stones
Dust and ashes tell their stories
Tales are told among the bones
Wanderers fear them, demons near them
Speak of cruelties of man
Stones where there when heaven burned down
And the snake-spawned war began
Angels weep each time they see them
They remain when chaos grows
Flowers die, stones are eternal
Silence, hear their music flows
They will see the night and they have seen the dawn
Kings of one place, wearing a solitary crown

When the masks fall
The theater was silent
The stage was set
A thousand eyes examining its slightest tremble
Made it seem like glowing with anticipation
In a circle all around the stage they sit
Under the starlit sky
A beautiful summer night carries them to a land of dreams
As the actors appear and the play begins
They are moving forward, coming from the south and facing towards the north
In slow motion they crawl
On their hands and their feet and the movement of them all
Seems like the wind trying to move a stone

The Forgotten
I see you hanging your head low
The mark of failure on your face
I see it in your eyes and know
That you are one of them
One of the forgotten
I love the awe as much as any man
The ones who make it bring us joy, inspire
But when the top becomes your sole desire
This disturbed message that you can
"Achieve everything if you work hard
If you believe"
So when you fail, what these words tell you
Is that it's your own fault
Did you not work enough?
Were you not dedicated?
Where was your belief? ...

The sword of hearts
If this is passive, very well, I'll go on the offensive
No girls breaking hearts here, promise
I'm not putting nothing straight anywhere
But I implore you, parasite, hear
The lecture has begun, sit down and shut up
I buy my metaphors
At the well of the muse herself
And unlike yours
Mine do not rot on a dry, untouched shelf
For my heart beats out a song that moves her
My metaphors are her gift for my song, that's how I get them, Sir
What have you ever done but haunted others?
So pompously, I laugh, cause yours is not one...

Fate has left me
On this morning
On this bright summer day
I see upon my way
A mark
A stone
I turn
It round, and it says:
"Fate has left you"
No fate to guide me
I do not know who I am anymore
Fate used to be my light
The thing that opened every door
Because I knew there was a plan for me
Now I'm not so sure
Born into this world for nothing, can that be?
If fate is right, and denial of it wrong
Is this the image of a man who's truly free?
I wonder whether fate has always been my guardian
