The flower and the stone
There was a flower near a river
It smiled so bright and true
It's the reason for this story
That's written, dear child, for you
It whispered to its sisters
How it would much like to be taken
Away to see the wide world
But her wish would see her forsaken
For a traveller came by the river
As he saw her he plugged the flower
And took her to a castle
Set her high for the world to see
And all came to bask in her beauty
And all laid down their gifts
But none returned her companions
The smile that her spirit...

This is why
I was forged by fire
A slave to desire
Mindfire burned me
Yearning to be free
And this is why
I did not know who I was
I pretended I did
And believed the mask
The striver
The one for whom it is never enough
Admire me, admire me!
What a laugh
Only the lake is worthy
Only the mountain is worthy
Only the tree is worthy
Of admiration
Only what can just be
Is truly free
I turn my back on who I was
I live the joy of good enough
I revel in the silent moments ...
A slave to desire
Mindfire burned me
Yearning to be free
And this is why
I did not know who I was
I pretended I did
And believed the mask

What no one can take away from you
I searched so long
Through every storm
And every sunshine
It made me restless
When would life bless
Me with what I sought?
Everything can be taken away
On every path you can go astray
It's enough to make a man despair
Holding on sometimes feels like grasping air
What is there? What is there lasting, tell me what is there?
Nothing
But this nothing is not desperation
This nothing is the answer
Breath
The flow of the divine
Makes you one with this one thing
When everything can fail...
Through every storm
And every sunshine
It made me restless
When would life bless
Me with what I sought?
Everything can be taken away
On every path you can go astray
It's enough to make a man despair
Holding on sometimes feels like grasping air
What is there? What is there lasting, tell me what is there?
Nothing
But this nothing is not desperation
This nothing is the answer

A wish for all of you
In this moment
After three years of pain and sometimes inner agony
I found a haven
Where everything is as it's supposed to be
Going to work during the day
Sinking into games and books by evening time
It sounds so much like ordinary living
It's what I wanted, it's the perfect ryhme
All dreams of "something special" are now resting
Under the golden blanket of self-understanding
All of those dreams where just a craving to belong
But for me this ambition is now sleeping, almost gone
What more is there to say?

The hall of whispers
A fear?
A vision?
Or a possibility?
Whatever it is
This is important
Well, at least to me
There may once be a story
Of our people leaving earth
A desolate, barren planet
This is not what we deserve
They go from planet to planet
Deceive natives into worship
Empire in the stars is growing
And empire build on lies
Bright lights deceive into cries
Into masks of pure perfection
People swearing, people tearing
To bring down white marble halls
Until a giant once calls
And brings the...

Mad Dog
Tick tock, tick tock,
The years have gone by
Like an eagle can fly
And I still struggle with you
Mad dog
Behind the calm exterior
A wild animal lives
And when I let it out it gives
The devil his due
Not simply a „wild side“, but out of control
You tried to destroy me
But I am not done
I rule this body
You are ruler of none
And my song will rise
While yours is gone
Dark winds, take his melody
Carry it far, far away from me

The Ice
There was a king, about whom they sing
The riches were never ending
In the stories they tell, it is glory they sell
Will we ever stop pretending?
While the money is flowing, the ice is growing
For the love of his kin conquered glorious land
For his footsteps in time should not be made of sand
Remnants will keep alive, the one who did strive
To make his land prosper, to make his kin thrive
While the glory is flowing, the ice is growing
In the midst of the night they celebrate
The joy and the mass of wealth they...

A time to despair
A time to despair
I hear it in the air
Internal sirens sound
Panick abound
What if, what if?
What if I loose it all?
What if I stray and fall?
Towards the dark abyss?
When you look into the mirror
And all you see is failure
Let light shine on your heart
The light of what you've been through
Say, have you never fallen?
Never gotten up again?

The moment that means everything
The waves stayed quiet
No guns, no riot
Peace and calm
Gave way to boredom
The curse of always searching
For reason song and ryhme
For "the moment" to be mine
For something that's sublime
It is the curse of humans
For passion we destroy

In search for more, we loose existing joy

The Shadow Hunter
I feel it on me sometimes
This gaze, this frightening gaze
As I run through life's maze
He's haunting me with his footsteps
And his doomsday rhymes
I feel him near
The shadow hunter
Shadows of the past he brings with him
Memories of unforgotten sin
Future tragedy his claws
Scenes where all you can do
Is to clutch at straws
Hopelessness is always just a breath away
When he makes his way
Into your life

Seven wishes
Beyond the doors of my heart
I feel them once again
I feel the pain
Of seven wishes
One is for a child and a wife
One just for an enjoyable life
One for the greatest song and rhyme
One for ever more and more time
One for those who passed to live again
One for a life without suffering and pain
One for my efforts to not be in vain
The fifth and the sixth
Are the greatest of them
When will this feeling go away
Of never enough, never enough
More more more!
It is such a chore
To chase...
