My only friend, The one I love
My only friend
Yet they don't know it
My only friend
Yet they don't care
The one person that can keep me from insanity
My only friend
The one I know wont stab me in the back
My only friend
The one I can trust
The one I can tell all my secrets to
Who doesn't care about the flaws
My only friend
Who still doesn't care
Who still doesn't know how important they are to me.
My only friend
The one I love

My Shadow
It follows me......
My past,
They follow me......
My demons
She follows me......
My insanity
He follows me.....
My pain
My shadows follow me everywhere, they stalk me to the four corners of the earth.
I try to out run them
I try to hide from them
I try to escape them
But one fact remains
You can never get rid of your shadows.......

I was Trained
Outside in the yard playing in the grass, they came up to me
They looked down at me and smirked
and all they said was "it's time to learn kid"
They pulled me to my feet just to knock me down to the ground
They yelled "Get your ass up"
I stood up slowly, Just so they could hurt me again....
Blood rolled down my neck, as they laughed
Years passed with the pain continuing
Till they all surrounded me,
A wide smile spread across my face as they ran towards me
A kick, a punch, a stab, a scratch
They a fell to the ground
I stood...
They looked down at me and smirked
and all they said was "it's time to learn kid"

I stood up slowly, Just so they could hurt me again....

Smiling Into Madness
Smiling....It seems to be what's dragging me down into madness
They ask me how I'm feeling
I say I'm fine, with a little bit of happiness spread across my face
But behind that happiness is insanity
Behind that happiness is a world of darkness
A world of sorrow
A world of destruction
and everytime I put on a smiling mask
My real self
the person i truely am, slips deeper and deeper
into the pit of insanity, of darkness, of sorrow, of pain
They ask me how I'm feeling

My Demon in a Corner
My one true enemy
My anger, My hatered, my pain
The one thing that can truely hurt me
My Demon in a Corner
Outside I'm an angel, or at least try to be
but when a flame is started......a single
spark
My eyes burn with the power of....
My Demon in a Corner
She's out for blood
out for tears
out for saddness
out for distruction
My Demon in a Corner

The people I call Family
They think they know me
They say they love me
They say they know what I'm going through
They say they care
They say they want only what's best for me
They say they feel for me
They say they want me to be happy.......

They lie to me
They call me a freak and dangerous
They try to lock me up
They beat me up
They make me cry
They want me to die
So why do I call them Family?
