I write contemporary (free verse). My writing has always naturally had a contemporary set of characteristics. Once I actually learned what free verse was, I knew that it was for me. I enjoy the ability to deeply and freely express things on a unrestrained level. To me it is the most beautiful form and depends highly upon the writers natural ability to express in writing.
