I thought it would be interesting if one of the older poets would mentor one of the younger poets.

This isn't the best example but Rachel helped me learn about Iambic pentameter and it helped me improve as a poet. It helped a lot.

So I was thinking why not have the more experienced poets mentor younger poets for a while to help them improve their poetry.

You don't have to mentor or be mentored if you don't want to.

I just thought this could help out young poets like me. (Even if my rank is Dangerous Mind, I still feel like a complete noob when it comes to poetry.)

What do you guys think of this idea?

Mentor as in work with them to help them improve as poets. One way could be to collab. Another could be taking a poem of the students and analyzing it. This is meant to help not slam
