Freedom from censorship by those who cannot stay in their own lanes, control themselves, or their choices; thus, desire to control and censor what everyone else chooses so they themselves feel in control.

Yikes!
Could be days. Just grateful that's all in light of what everyone else is going through. Heavy heart tonight.
Duke Energy: Helene left catastrophic damage in its wake. Crews are navigating hazardous conditions as they assess damage in impacted communities. Due to the severity of destruction experienced and ongoing flooding challenges, we expect an extended restoration effort. We will be in touch tonight with an update. In the meantime, stay alert and follow directions from emergency management. More info and resources at duk.us/32. Thank you for your patience and stay safe. Text STOP to cancel.

How are you doing?
Yeah, I'm good. Power was restored a few moments ago after a notification that it would be tomorrow night. Nice surprise. Now I have the daunting task of emptying my refrigerator of all the groceries I just bought—$105.00 worth ( I'm feeding a teenager and sometimes a son ). I think my insurance will cover the loss with a receipt. Seems like they offered years ago after an ice storm knocked power out for almost a week, but I couldn't find the damn receipt.
I honestly didn't think it would be this bad. My heart is broken for the mountains of North Carolina.

East coast weather is the worst.
Last time we got anything like that was 1962.
Glad to hear that you are ok. ☘️

I love the location. Beaches. Mountains. State parks. Lakes. It's a beautiful area. I don't like the extended summer humidity. I would love to retire to a climate that stays in the 70's low 80's most of the year! 😂
