I think click edit, delete the text and then click modify reply

Thanks, Eerie; I tried it and it worked.  But I could not leave the text box blank it would not save, so I added exes and that resolved the issue.

Hi, Cab. You can't delete a forum post; however, as Eerie pointed out, you can edit the context.
