I have noticed a trend happening in DU. The forums used to be free and public threads. The creeping censorship affecting the outside world is also happening here. Rules and exclusions are being set but thread starters then exclude people for many reasons both personally and by way of their opinions. Personal abuse is rife certainly recently and it is left to stand regardless.
In the spirit of threads of old the rules are as they were original.
So you can say what you want and nobody will be excluded

Footage of a large crowd rushing into an ALDI supermarket has been viewed hundreds of thousands of times on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube alongside claims that the video shows panic buyers storming the supermarket during the novel coronavirus pandemic. The claim is false; the video was in fact filmed in Germany in 2011, nearly a decade before the coronavirus pandemic broke out. The video has been viewed nearly 5,000 times since it was posted to Twitter here on March 1. The tweet reads: "#CoronaVirusUpdate Scenes from Germany! #coronavirus fears in Germany result in large crowds outside a supermarket. People pushing each other to get into store firstmto get necessary supplies .

amazing this thread was de-listed in under a day! It can not be seen on the "Latest Forum Discussions" publicised list, therefore, it kills the thread and no one can see it at a glance - this has happened to more than a few of my threads by the powers that be. Yet they leave up personal abuse to other poets on the site (COVID19). I reported several posts on the COVID 19 thread as clearly being abusive - no action was taken against the thread or the participants in the abuse however I was warned for being Passive/aggressive??? but no warning or action was taken in respect of long-standing abusers or their abusive posts - The only action taken was the burying of my thread which makes an attempt at a darkly humorous thread being effectively banned whilst hate and bullying for some still goes unpunished - must have been passive/aggressive???
