You were my best friend but:
You fucked my wife
You humped my daughter
You killed my eldest boy
You killed both my parents
And my grandparents
You stole and wrecked my car
You sank my boat
You got me fired from my job
You took all my money
You fire bombed my house
Killing everyone left
Except me and my dog
You did all this and like a fool
I forgave you for everything
We stayed the best of friends

This time you’ve gone too far

I was the kid looked down upon
dismissed by others....just a pawn
a little strange, I've always been
just happy to have had a friend

In early years as growing up
laughing, playing, no mistrust
we seemed as one, both you and I
I'd keep your secrets....even lie

When we both were still in school
unknowing I was such a fool
I'd see you standing over there
and blissful be so unaware
while talking with your other friends
bad words of me, you'd not defend
for fear of being thought of weird
pointed at and thus be jeered

And now that time has passed on by
few words of comfort, you've supplied
your smiling face does leave no clue
that something here is much askew

Now when I call you're always out
no call returned leaves little doubt
that I can not unfriend someone
when now it's clear, that I have none

BUMP

No Longer Followed
Older we've become the pressures high.
They say to look up and see our limits in the sky.
Together as friends not everyone can adapt to change.
Falling and spreading further out of range.

We know what we've been and what we've become today.
Those who care always find a way.
Trust breaks friendships daily it's important to be spoken.
Grudges at times are revived till then many remain amongst each other broken.

Unfriended you because I no longer want be reminded
Of your misogynistic attitude and the assumption we are like-minded
We were so painfully close like a blood bonded brother
As time twists away this realisation and I discover

I realise your affected individuality so far back in the day
When your vicissitudes filled me with so much dismay
Carried on like our failed friendship marriage had not changed
With each cruel act our interactions slightly damaged and rearranged

I unfriended you when I considered you my blood
Both damaged people whose families/society misunderstood
I wonder was she worth the destruction of our laughter
I can only speculate when I unfriended you guess what goes on after

High tide

We'd been friends forever,
That is until you discovered boys.
We went into school,
Best friends,

And by the end of the year,
You looked like a fuck toy.
You had boo's,
And screamed over heavily priced knock off shoes,

I had books and paper,
But you had looks and an army of young men.
I'd never thought I'd lose you,
It's such a shame,

But at least I'm not the one to blame.
High school was like high tide,
Puberty hit me like a brick,
And i'd remember you'd scream at the boys in the hallway,
For arguing over which one of us had the bigger tits,

You were the shark,
And I was the blood in the water,
I swear I never thought I'd lose the friend who use to cry over the globe trotters
But that's what I get,
For trusting some whore,

The Dream

We were young and full of imagination,
The world was ours for the taking,
We shared the same vision,
It was history in the making.
But as life happens we went our ways,
Only to meet two decades later,
We still shared that vision,
But yours was even greater.
Our friendship would help us achieve,
The dream we wanted to realize,
We were the first generation,
The vision in those kids eyes.
You took on as a teacher and mentor,
Yet somehow things went wrong
I didn’t mind that you made mistakes,
After all we always make our own.
But I do mind that you didn’t own up to it,
Or at least apologize for your blunder,
Especially when my offspring’s involved,
And it tore the whole group asunder.
Where you so blind so as to not see?
How many children’s hopes you broke?
All because of your foolish pride,
And made yourself the butt of a joke?
I kept away from rumors and gossip,
But little by little I felt even more withdrawn
Learn to swallow your pride, you let it die,
The dream when we dreamt is gone.
Twenty seven years of friendship,
Down the drain because you hurt my son,
You hurt a whole different generation,
Who chased the dream that now is gone.
All you had to do was apologize,
A true leader knows his role,
And everyone would’ve supported you,
In realizing and achieving the goal.

Whenever I go and visit the organization,
I see that a new class has reconvened,
In the meantime I’ve gone and unfriended,
The friend who I once mentored
But killed the dream.
