Christ can carry his own damn self
He does not need my portage
Rising on the third day was not his first miracle
I seem to remember that he can walk on water
So, why does he need a Christ-Bearer(opher)
To carry him across a river.
Others can simply wade across
Paying little heed to the
Half baked dreams
Encapsulated in this thing called
Religion

Many are the layers comprising this self
intact despite the continued pain
clinging to hope because there's always an angel
hell bent on living an authentic life
entangled in webs I unspin to understand
learning is my primary occupation

Killing time. It’s an easy target.
Another sunset framed in a rearview mirror, casting shadows before
night takes throne as their king.

All the words I twisted,
lies I've said,
every heart I've broken, has been because of her,
Xavierana, the monster that blackened my heart,
and though my hate has not faded,
