Right, the results are in! My humble thanks to the guest judges for the time and care they put into reviewing the entries.
Thank you kindly, Lobo, Mourganna, Dresdamanx, Indie, Scraps Belial, whale and Feddeler.
Well done to Case and Dystopian Melody.
Samson is a hard-hitting journey into the inner world of flesh and soul, with a wonderful flavor of biblically catastrophic apocalypse. Case's video was a delight to watch, and I'm glad we got at least one for the comp.
Dystopian's entry holds the essence of, if not eternity, something approaching it. It appeals to the idea of the comp which takes place so far in the future, where normally only fiction dares to venture. He has pulled in the idea of the great unknown with death, an abyss and a sea.
Honorable mentions go to Wendy and rabbitquest, with their highly original ideas.
Wendy, you had some really interesting thoughts on creativity, and your work could easily be expanded into an essay. I agree with many of the points you made. Please keep in mind for the future that your prose needed to be broken up into paragraphs to ease the reading. Also, your work deserves a title.
rabbitquest, I read your entry before you modified it, and was delighted with the authentic language and the story it told. My preference would be to keep it as it was, and not explain. I went back to reread it and found to my dismay that you had modified it. Sometimes less is more, and you should trust your readers to work things out. Anyone who took the trouble to read all the details would understand. You need a title too, although if you trim it back to where it was, then the following could serve as a high tech title:
Lifeform Restoration Project Facility
LRPF SYSTEM LOG AD7015.4.30 19:00
Wendy and rabbitquest, if you post these works to your poetry collections, I would be delighted to add them to my reading list (including the editing work). Then again, if that feels too much like homework, then please keep in mind the above in developing other work.
Many thanks again to everyone who took part. Cheers!

Congrats Case
Batgirl
the honoured
great idea for a comp, Atakti
and may I say what an honour it is to have competed in a comp that required eight judges of such serious calibre to judge 🎭

Congrats case, treat yourself to a cream puff royal!
I'm honoured to be so... Honoured. You had a few of my favourite poets on the panel.
Great competition tank girl, hope to see more like it soon.

This was a really thoughtfully run comp, Atakti, and thank you for the feed back, I really thought I was out in space and unintelligable. It is good to know there are other intelligent life forms out there!

Thanks Atakti for a really cool comp idea, it definitely triggered something in my bowel of creativity. Thanks to the posse of judges, I'm stoked to have got the nod from my peers. Congratulations to Le Creame Pouffe for runners up, and Wendy and Rabbitquest for honours, and well done to everyone who had a crack at Atakti's enticing comp.
