Her voice
meanders in breathless melody
eloquent stream of flute whispers
mouthing mother tongue.

Cypher of symphonic love
melds into swirling concerto
her enchanting tune dances
to my beating heart.

thrashing winds on sleepless nights
window frames rattle and gasp

when zipping down her night's dress
holding joints at the neck
'tween fingers and thumb
gifts a deep prelude
to the soft high-hat crescendo

Seven Seas Arising


Zippers creep with ratchet action
denim drops like a windless sail
nylon clips slide in broken seals
and lace is dead silent.
Breathless lips lapping hulls
in stern arousing seas.
