A smile, a lark, a beer
or two or three with good
or bad company of comrades
looking to get down and dirty
on the long and cheap because
everything hurts more
when you drink
alone.

Four, five and six
go down easy
as the clock above
the top shelf liquor ticks
slowly to the witching
hour and its way too early
for a greasy burger,
fries and bad coffee.

Seven, eight and nine,
with everybody feeling
just fine and still time
to load up the Impala
blowing every stop sign
and red light on Broadway
to hit the juke joint out past
bourgeois mall before last call.

And the traffic lights
make like fireworks
freefalling in a mad spin
as senses of direction
get lost in an ether
where all roads lead
to hell and boxes
of velour and pine

.:The Way of Sacrifice:.

most of us
don’t know the half
all roads
lead to
a bloody bath
on the path
away we go
matters not, if
fast or slow

the crimson tub
the body scrub
pre-storm calm and
then the rub
one’s best bet
turns soaking wet
the blood, the drip
sends some
regret

drenched
the way of sacrifice
indeed awash
in what looks nice
believe, deceive
what we do most
the pictured scene
is what we post

some dream
then gleam
then raise a toast
its what
we do as guest
or host

the slaughter, yes
awaits our call
the road
the bath
it drains
us all

Life Saver

Every bone in my body aches
I want to cry but
Pride keeps my mouth shut
So I shake with fear as
Horrors race through my head
Quickening my heart
Like a fighters before the fight
My knees tremble and
I want to flee this place
Get away from death
As far as I can
But I, we are trapped here
On this floating, spinning rock
Suspended in a sea of blackness
We have yet learned how to tread
Faith our only life raft
Floats ahead of us
Bobbing in our minds eye
It is always there
Though most of us will not seize it
Until our lives depend on it
Defiant we mock it
Take it for granted
Like spoiled children
Certain that our God
Will not punish us
No, not me
He loves me
He said so, and consequently
Faith is carried at arms length
Yet we don’t dare abandon it
In case,
That is all there is
All roads lead to death
Bring your life saver and
See if it can save your soul

in their gaze, the enshrouding cloud smokes
over Venus stud and phasic moon
in a conversing receptive shavasana
the little whiteness heaps sometime
merges in a milky thicken  but mostly
play ironic in thinning down to disarrays
cottony strands running apart to nowhere
clearing off to the everlasting presence beyond, the abyss
the clouds seem to be the impatient frill shows of the same
the road, the journey emerges in a hazy-clad clarity for an eonic glimpse
search deepens to this void in congruence with the inner digging routes

flexing in a rhythmic constancy, the legs walk
beyond mortal weariness over rolling
treadmill, the roads keep objectivity alive

all roads lead to tangible blindness, the complacency
tools of imagination weigh less than their centric theme

in being an infinitesimal bit of the abyss
in being the convergence with the unknown

so many awesome poems and poets so far this really with be interesting to see who comes out on top

poet Anonymous

My life has been full of twists and turns
Regrets, achievements, and selfish yearns

But when I look back, I see the future, in some small way
It is how I got here, on this, my present day

Not everything has been filled with joy and happiness
In fact, not much has; it has been mostly suffering and stress

I know that I have chosen the path that I’ve been on up until now
And that there were times things might have been different somehow

My thoughts swim around aimlessly in my head
During the day and when I lay it down for bed

What is our purpose, I was once asked in a class
My answer, was, to make happiness last

Toward that goal, we mustn’t forsake others it is said
In fact, some say that is our purpose, to help others until we are dead

This world is only ours temporarily; all living things die
And we owe it to our creator to not give up and try

Some people live quietly and some are known for reaching for the stars
While others are locked away, simply trying to recover from their scars

We all have this thing in common; it is that we breathe this air
To waste our time not sharing would just not be fair

Whether you’ve procreated, stagnated, or gone through live like a plow
Do not go unnoticed, decide what is good and make it happen now

Remaining shy, not taking risks, all of these are a shame
One day you might wake up and not be in the game

There is no mistaking that all of us will grow old
We owe it to our relatives to leave some good stories to be told

All roads lead to happiness, this is what I’ve had to learn
They have to; there is no where else to turn

All roads lead to what you want it to lead.
Your future isnt written on stone, you write it.
I have walked on many paths.
Some are autumn.
Some are winter.
Some are summer.
Some are spring.
But the one I followed was my heart.
The path full of torns.
The path full of grief.
I walked on it because I wanted to be different.
My hands are all crimson.
Some say my heart was sin fully seen.
Prehaps their right.
Im wraped tight in a white coat.
I hear screams which spell out true terror and horror.
I see her beautuiful screaming face which I cant replace.
Her screaming is to me a summer day at the bay.
My true happiness was her sadness.
For my name is Jack the ripper.
That is the name I choose.
I followed my heart.
Can you say I made the wrong choice?

OFF ROAD
All roads lead to a place where someone else wants you to be
All roads lead to a place of predetermination
So saddle your horse
Set your sails
And get off the road and set yourself free

Looking back

All roads lead to
somewhere different,
Does it matter where
The journey takes us?
Just go,
We can always look
back at where we were

An End

All roads lead to an end,
what a beautiful sight that will be

Keep True

No matter how dark and unmarked
despite the ugly emptiness
going against every gut instinct

every road you end up on
is the one meant for you

each leads to somewhere different
even if it's nowhere new
All paths lead to your destination
the only way to go is keep true

ALL ROADS LEAD TO SOMEWHERE

All roads lead to Rome -
an old metaphor like home
where blood is the central tie
that binds families until they die.

All roads lead to somewhere
it doesn't matter how we get there;
what's important is we arrived from nowhere
to turn a new leaf anywhere but here.

From here life begins anew,
as the sun drinks the morning dew
and gives warmth to the frigid souls—
long tormented, with forgotten goals.

All roads lead to somewhere,
the journey always end up there
Time may never ran out of space,
it always waits in the final resting place.

All roads lead to somewhere
The destination is not important
What's important is the journey itself!

Our Destiny

All roads lead
the way
for opportunities
unknown path
where our intuition
unravels our destiny
our experiences grows
smiles on our face
by the stories we have told
in our hands is the key
to open the door to our souls

All roads lead to the top of Mt. Fuji
Some roads are more fun
than others.

Opportunity Road

Your mind, a compass
navigating through the world
Your heart, a vehicle
moving you...
across lands, expeditiously
Your spirit, a guide
rerouting your course
when poor choices detour,
your mental direction
Where wrong turns lead
to dead-ends

All roads lead to opportunity,
If traveled with conviction
for a life without purpose,
is a life without destination
