Edgy glory
I'm on the edge
Glory follows
Remembered for the suicide
A crazy girl no one could help
Death calls
Taps me on the shoulder
I told Jon
I wouldn't leave this earth
But I'm next
Death wrote the note
Now I take the gun
And spill some blood
Straight from my body
I'm on the edge
I'm standing here
Death puts his hand in mine
Kisses my cheek
And pulls the trigger
I'm on the edge
Glory follows
Remembered for the suicide
A crazy girl no one could help
Death calls
Taps me on the shoulder
I told Jon
I wouldn't leave this earth
But I'm next
Death wrote the note
Now I take the gun
And spill some blood
Straight from my body
I'm on the edge
I'm standing here
Death puts his hand in mine
Kisses my cheek
And pulls the trigger

Oh heavens sake. The song is about 'little death' (orgasm) doncha know. I love Gaga, but she's not a suicidal romantic.

People look at her
They see a smiling face
They hear her laughter, but on the inside she's dying
Nobody realizes it,
Or maybe they ignore it
Thinking she is strong and happy
When in reality she goes home and cries herself to sleep
They say shell do great things one day
Too bad any day is too late
As she holds the razor in her hand
She enters the tub
Left wrist first,
She slices in and blood starts to pour out
She sees faint image of death
Welcoming her to his home
So she takes the razor,
Slippery with her blood
And slices her right wrist too
Death is more clear now
Reaching out to her
In her final moments she thinks of those who will miss her
Those who adored her,
Those who looked up to her
A single tear falls,
But she then reaches up and takes death's hand
Her dream finally realized
She will be forever remembered
She will always have her own glory
She is no longer on the precipice of her own despair
She has finally leaped over it
They see a smiling face
They hear her laughter, but on the inside she's dying
Nobody realizes it,
Or maybe they ignore it
Thinking she is strong and happy
When in reality she goes home and cries herself to sleep

The Keeper Of The Names
The end-date is added—
2014.
Another one finished too soon;
Goodbye, Joe,
Fickle and fifty-nine,
Diabetic coma-crash
And you never awoke.
Each name on the family tree
Has their start-date,
Birth,
Until I,
The Keeper of the Names because no one else gives a shit,
Adds the date of life’s summation.
The years fly by,
Making me tick off another
From time to time,
In my electronic list of who’s gone and who’s not,
And then I edit the phone and address list
To reflect the latest change.
Whoever the last one standing, is,
Remember to add my date to The List,
To continue,
In case it’s not me.
The end-date is added—
2014.

Goodbye, Joe,

Death of the Mom-Jean
Alas, you are gone,
the pant that knew me best,
every expanded curve,
every navel-height belted
inch of me.
I will miss
wiping cake batter
& baby formula off of you.
Each soccer practice,
church play,
PTA meeting,
run to the store.
You've been with me,
through each,
and have waited
patiently on the
bedroom floor,
while Earl and I
finished our
blessed bi-monthly
relations.
How I wished,
it was you touching my hips,
rather than his pale,
claws.
How thankful I am,
that the moments
I lie trapped under his
fat, stinking body,
inhaling his coffee-sickened
breath,
are foreshortened
by his Diabetes....
So I leave you,
you served your Madame well,
I release you to the
fields of Goodwill.
And will now don,
a widows garb,
of Marts,
Wal & Super.
Swathed in Lavender
Flannel, I will
go on,
as the Mother
nobody wanted,
minder of the World,
scolder of Naughty
boys.

Thanks
But i do know what the song is about. She says it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2z7jnmXVI2Y also, she said more correctly, that it is about the last moments here, the truth, about falling in love and dying. But orgasm really does come from the lyrics ![](/images/forum/smilies/grin.gif)

Drawing my strength from inside
I'm sitting here wondering
How it was done
With a gun to your mouth
You chose to end it
Not thinking of who you'd hurt
You were only concerned with
Those four walls
That confined you
Such a mystery it was
That the gun sat upright
You barely bled
After the fact
Was someone there
Helping you out of your misery
As the tears roll down my face
I wonder how much pain
Was too much to endure
And why wasn't I there
To stop you
But maybe you didn't
Want to be stopped
Maybe you knew something
That I didn't
That death was your peace
And life was your enemy
I'm sitting here wondering
How it was done
With a gun to your mouth
You chose to end it
Not thinking of who you'd hurt
You were only concerned with
Those four walls
That confined you
Such a mystery it was
That the gun sat upright

Slipping slowly and secretly away
into the black abyss where all fades
no one would miss me or notice the absence
the stillness in the air will not be mourned
I was worthless from start to finish
So young, almost eighteen with life before
so sweet, but broken too often to care anymore
I sheltered my heart and my soul
but the damage had been done
too late for me
but it's not too late for you
Live, but don't cry when I die
into the black abyss where all fades
no one would miss me or notice the absence
the stillness in the air will not be mourned
I was worthless from start to finish
So young, almost eighteen with life before
so sweet, but broken too often to care anymore
I sheltered my heart and my soul
but the damage had been done
too late for me
but it's not too late for you
Live, but don't cry when I die

DYING WITH HONOR IN THE LAND OF ICE AND SNOW
Adjusting an antenna
Installing a vent
More often just shoveling off snow
Among Minnesota men
Falling off the roof
Is the manly way to go!

DEATH
I have witnessed death
My best friend's last breath
Boomed in my ear like a trumpet
And when he passed he looked like a limp puppet
How disturbing it is
To see how someone we love can die so quickly
I never thought death could take him
Then I witnessed it and felt sickly
Hopefully no one has to see me die
Because they won't cry
That I'm losing life
They will be scared because I will put up a fight
I have witnessed death
My best friend's last breath
Boomed in my ear like a trumpet
And when he passed he looked like a limp puppet
How disturbing it is
To see how someone we love can die so quickly
I never thought death could take him
Then I witnessed it and felt sickly
Hopefully no one has to see me die
Because they won't cry
That I'm losing life

MY LAST BREATH
Am I alive
or am I dead
can't move nothing
accept for my head
don't want to move
or take a deep breath
for fear of living
or is it just death
I lay here to sleep
or is this awake
I fear trying to move
my life he could take
I stare into darkness
some stars that I see
I feel it trying
to pull me to thee
I feel my face smile
as I start to have sight
now flying towards me
is a star that is bright
I take my last breath
as the pain goes away
my soul begans to move
but my body still lays
Am I alive
or am I dead
can't move nothing
accept for my head
don't want to move
or take a deep breath
for fear of living
or is it just death
I lay here to sleep
or is this awake

~Watching and sitting~
Loving the edge
I watch the Cars
Back and forth
I watch them
Sitting on the ledge
A semi passes
I am in the edge
I see the light
And all its glory
Spouse that's why its called
The edge if glory
Loving the edge
I watch the Cars
Back and forth
I watch them
Sitting on the ledge
A semi passes
I am in the edge
I see the light
And all its glory
