Tumor Around My Heart.
This happened to me last Summer.
Attending a neighborhood garage sale an acquaintance inquired as to my current health statues. I told her though my cancer wasn't active, my tumor was inoperable due to the fact it was around my heart.
"You mean you have cancer of the heart," she asked shocked?
"I've never heard of such a thing."
I said "Yes."
Then she asked, "did they (the Dr.s) tell you its cause?"
"They don't know what causes of this type of cancer," I answered folding my hands across my heart. "But my personal opinion it was probably caused by a mean old girlfriend."
Not understanding my attempt at humor she stared puzzled for a moment, before giving a serious response, "Doesn't surprise me a bit, who would ever imagined a disease like AIDS being spread like that."
I laughed.
What else could I do; cry?
