forbidden love
Circle in a Triangle
I wish I could lead
my faltering steps home
To where all things bloom
With every rosy hues
Of adoration and happiness
Folded arms around me
Warm breath upon my nape
A dance in rooms
Of velvet desires
Lined with wants
Cushioned in contentment
I wish I could beg
Break not this circle
Of strengthen gold
End the hardness brought
From words unsaid
Accusations conveyed
tired eyes saw vows cracked
On hopeless pavements
Fidelity gone with a gust
Of the winds of temptations
On exposed flesh
I begged, lead the third not
Into the golden circle
With words soft
Like soughing caresses
Sweetened with deceits
Laced with lies
Promises of love
As yet unfelt
Just cravings for newness
In clefts of flesh
Pleasures tasted to taste anew
Silence, so I leave you
To savour and feed
That just you know how
Remember the spoken vow
Of forever more
Broken it will be in the morrow
Mourn I in sorrow
For the while that I shall sing
The dirge of love’s death
You will soar as high in your ecstasy
To fall to the ground once more

THE PALESTINIAN WHO I LOVED - IN UNIVERSITY
When I was young and fair
There was a young man

Unfortunately we were Romeo and Juliet
From two countries at war with each other
Furthermore we were of different race and religion
My Romeo and I met on campus
Where nobody would look for us
We planned to run away
To another country
Where we could live in peace

All i heard was hate.
A spear through my heart,
Every part of me got disturbed.
I had a heart attack for a moment.
Struck down i was back at zero,
Told i was too blind to be inlove.
I was too young what did i know,
I had to let it all crush.
Blue eyes,pretty smile,
Its time to say goodbye.
Lets face it you were never mine.
Might have been on cloud nine,
Those moments don't last forever,
We just not meant to be together.
Cupid must have been drunk,
We aint meant for love,
Our moment was full of lust.
A moment with so much spark,
But does not yield much.
Forbiden love its time to let you go,
Won't you please close the door.

The Legend of Marinduque

From a distant past, they were star-crossed lovers
Who once lived in a far away kingdom by the sea
Their first meeting was brought by a lucky stroke of fate
As if arranged all along by the island mystical gods
Maring and Duke fell in love with each other at first sight
With Cupid’s help as a white deer in that enchanted forest
Since that fateful day, they often met in the forest
Unknown to the king who didn’t believe in fate
He would have never thought they were secret lovers
Until the day he announced a ship race across the sea
Winners would marry his daughter – always pretty in sight
The unhappy, pretty princessprayed all night to the gods
On race day, her prayers were answered by the gods
Turbulent waves met the mighty winds of the forest
Seemingly odd luck for the tearful star-crossed lovers
Three kings set forth bravely out in the open sea
Halfway through, one hit a rockvanished from sight
The other two, devoured by the sea; met the same fate
Who would have thought their love was doomed by fate
Thwarted by the king, knowing now they were lovers
He ordered Duke’s head to be thrown in the forest
To be eaten by the wild animals, forever out of sight
Once again, helped by the mystic powers of the gods
Before it was done, they had a chance to sail out to sea
To everyone’s surprise, they drowned themselves at sea
Swallowed by the abyss, unaided by the mystical gods
Maring and Duke were the true star-crossed lovers
Who sacrificed their lives just to be always within sight
The king grieved for the loss of his daughter, cursing fate
While Duke was mourned by the wailing enchanted forest
Their forbidden love whispered utmost secrecy in the forest
Because their pure, heavenly love was blessed by the gods
But with the king in the way, and a sudden twist of fate
Five lives were lost, all eaten alive by the deep blue sea,
An island shaped as a heart appeared in mortal sight
In the exact place of drowning, chosen by the lovers
Now they called the place Marinduque, after the lovers
Prior to this, three small islands sprouted – a pleasant sight
Aptly named Tres Reyes Islets, after the three kings lost at sea

We ran into each other like it was home
The most intense connection I have ever known
Although I feared it would surely be broken
Surrendered my heart and left my door wide open
Helpless and desperate I could do nothing but wait
For you to decide not to ignore fate
You steer toward the road of least resistance
Constantly fighting your desire's persistence
Your eyes beg me to release you for a normal life
Sacrifice our love, let you be a mother and wife
Now you have your family and your white picket fence
You conformed to the life that you think makes sense
I know you have realised that our love was not a sin
Doesn't matter now because you wake with him
You did not have the courage to love me back then

as her lingerie hits the floor

then slowly enters her

While I smile and laugh I can't help but watch you out of the corner of my eye.
Everynight as I watch the stars, I can't hope but wish that you and me could try.
I never knew if you loved me or not just because we were friends.
I loved you so much yet I didn't want our friendship to end.
I tried my best to keep my feelings at bay.
Yet all I wanted was for you to stay.
I was fine with just being near.
Yet I craved something more from you, my peer.
It was the night of the dance that I knew.
I never had a chance of keeping you.
I tried as I could to make you see.
That I loved you more than you loved me.
I would see you in class everyday.
But in reality, we were very far away.
And is why I love you my teacher.
You are God and I am a creature.
While I smile and laugh I can't help but watch you out of the corner of my eye.

Watching the poor beg for bones
The sick try to stop their itches
A boring time spent all day

I listen closely, the wolf calls
A nighttime show put on
No matter, doesn't help me
Then another voice joins the song
A familiar sound, I peer to see
A man on a horse, too far to recognize
But his gentle tone makes me realize
That the prince is back, I'm free
A princess is way too hard to be
I rush to the giant front doors
Opening them by myself would not work
I get two servants from the upper floors
They open wide, and theres his smirk
A smile I know all too well
Make my heart quiver, Oh I fell
Fell fast and hard for this man
A man living only in my dreamland
I'm sure my brain is cursed and rotten
