the ending of summer beginning of fall
Also I need a judge three judges for thia to agree upon a winner and runner up first three to contact first get the spot. Judges can enter but have to collab with a non judge. If thia is a horrible idea than let me know guys I thought it would be interesting.

Before you decide on collaborative judging....2 recent competitions - one by Marthard and one by someone else did this and had to write to the entrants to get them to vote. If I remember correctly you are a very busy working woman.....
You can still change the competition to be marked by you alone......
However, should you wish your competition to have judges
I volunteer to help you....with this and anything else....

No - I am not the best judge as my background is not in English, poetry or Humanities. It is in Biochemistry and Computers in Education. I would nominate Aish, Leprrochaun, Jack Heslop, Lord Viddax, Grace, Gypsy Red, Anita Magdalena, and a long list of people whose names I cannot remember.....

When you host a competition you have to be sure of what you want from entrants, so that you can judge accordingly. Having others judge your entrants can be a good idea, But you may have to apply a judging formula for your judges. EngrVV has the formula. As with Kitty, I judge my own competition, with some input from friends, who are non members of dup. This is a beautiful competition, Writinginthedarck.

Driving down the winding stretch
of this long forgotten road
that leads to nowhere…
I noticed the early amber leaves
nestled above the misty fog -
an early autumn sign.
Sunburnt skin still lingers
hoping for a last rendezvous
with the life-giving Sol;
wondering if I will
still see you in September
when traces of beach tan
are gone.
Mixed feelings of emotions
accompany my lonely soul
just wanting to stay
and live for today…
because I see no signs
of a bright tomorrow,
just a misty fog

of that long forgotten road.

Past the glint of cloud
Rolling over hills
Comes the echo of the land
Voices fading far
Mantle of moon
Cast over my shoulders
I wear a frock of light
Shaking the leaves
From my hair
