On The Potential of Humanity.
We have war and famine and disease,
We have rich and poor and resources
you want to seize.
But we have one thing more.
One thing your species has already worn down.
We, us tiny little Earthlings,
in our tiny little corner of space,
We have your lost song.
We haven't been here for long,
and I know we may seem weak.
Our technology is inferior,
and we look like we're easy to conquer.
But we are strong.
We are special.
We are unique.
We have heart,
We have nerve.
We have a spine and we have one thing you will
NEVER have again.
Potential.
We can grow,
and learn new things.
You may be smarter, older, wiser,
but you're dying out.
You've been here long enough.
It's our turn now.
