NOT GONE WITH THE WIND
they still call me a yankee
and i have been here half my life
my children were born here
and i run a mighty fine house
miss montgomery they address me
the servants and the guests
they know that i am highborn
though not similar to the rest
i met Buck at the university
which envelopes this town
we married under the magnolias
in the first presbyterian
in the finest bridal gown
along came little johnny
and then elizabeth and dan
we thought we were three
but then we were four
when juliet entered our life
why johnny is so tall now
and dan is growing like a weed
lizzie is a little banshee
while juliet - well she is hard to please
they all went to Forrest Hall
where the better folks send their kids
and while boys will be boys
we thought this did not apply
to girls
and lizzie fell into line
when i showed her what kind
of mother i could be
i wish i could tell you
i was kind and sweet and nice
but I was raising montgomeries
and certain standards they would meet
buck’s daddy made me promise
to raise them hard and right
and i never forgot that
- not after that family fight
did this make juliet defy me?
by the sex and drugs and boys
but i knew she demeaned us
and did it so
as if to say
“make me obey”
it was luck that buck’s uncle
was the sherif of the town
for juliet got into trouble
when the sun went down
buck did not blame me
but his family did
they said he had married
a yankee
and not his sweetheart
to whom he was foresworn
i never knew what happened to maggie
and what made her and Buck fight
but the night before their wedding
maggie made the flight
i did not make much of it
as my love for buck was true
and he was a southern gentleman
of a long dynasty - true and blue
buck said he loved me
but there were rumours in the air
that there was boy in farmerstown
who looks like buck
except for the hair
juliet met the boy in farmerstown
at a rave in an abandoned field
she gave herself to him
in a drug induced haze
and he gave her his seed
that would inside her breed
It took a lot of asking
questions people don’t want to hear
until i added it all up
Leroy was her half-brother
and she insisted on having
this boy as her lover
saying the rumours
were just that
no proof to them at all
it was his colour she accused me
that made me make up a story
that sounded so true
that would separate her
from Leroy
who was so good and kind
but black
this was still the south
and despite what had gone before
here in mongomeryville
the clock did not go forth
it stayed forever
in the civil war
they did not use the N word
they were civil and polite
but white people had lived in
montgomeryville
since 1765
the old mansion where the montgomeries
at one time all did live
was now deserted and in disrepair
and it was there I found Juliet
hiding
when it was time for her to birth
the mansion was far from town
and nobody could hear
the sounds of her crying
see the volumes of her tears
i had a gun with me
and shot Leroy in the leg
told him to leave
and to forget Juliet
the labour was far longer
than many people can stand
but i wanted my daughter Juliet
back - back and in good hands
the baby came out
his tiny body a darker hue
he did not live long
for the cord was wrapped
around his neck
and i did not know what to do
i told this all to the sheriff
and since we were family
the little boy was buried
on family property
juliet is silent now
as silent as a mouse
the thorazine the doctor gave her
keeps her in the house
john is now a lawyer
practicing with his father
dan has moved away
he is trying to find himself
but promises to come back some day
elizabeth, oh lizzie
you are the apple of my eye
you made a wealthy marriage
that helped solidify
my place in this town
as for the old mansion
it caught fire one day
there are no more disturbances
nobody goes there to play
for they see the ghost
the ghost of Juliet
only 16 , with long blond hair
a sight you will never forget
she died last year
so young....only 10 years have gone by
of a drug reaction
that people sometimes get
they say leroy died
and now that juliet is gone
the two ghosts
dance nightly
on our arboured
lawn
i never believed in ghosts
i thought it was a fairy tale
until i saw my julie
so happy in an oak tree
one of the many that flank the drive
to the home of the montgomeries
who shall, despite all, survive.

I went through a period of time where I read
the old fashioned Southern writers such as
Eudora Welty. I have had a fascination with
the south with NO EXPLANATION as my roots
are in Eastern Europe. However, I have taken
a couple of trips to the south which included
the battlefields, such as Appomatox and the
Tomb of Robert E. Lee. I am totally against
slavery and what the South did to the
people of African descent. However this poem
just came to me. It was probably seeded
by my journeys to the small towns and
also the Civil War Museums and Plantations.

Lil' Penny and The Wily Dude
http://8020.photos.jpgmag.com/2455142_233742_b15d14a804_l.jpg
Lil`Penny always dreamt of being a Big Dollar.
She’d get up on the table and make ‘em all holler.
They’d scream and beckon. She'd reckon…she’d wreck shop with what she’d drop.
Far removed from what them other girlies got. Not one to fool herself
Lil`Penny was well aware of her physical wealth
Well aware of her presence and that reciprocating' stare.
She the shady with a low-key glare…Girlfriend was rare plus she was smart.
Snatch up a Player’s stash and his heart.
Let’s face it...she’d encase it. Put it on display just like her style.
Jokers who crept up they’d be tricked up trying to keep up.
But they’d still keep a smile...
Them players knew Lil`Penny, she’d be that Big Dollar inna awhile.
You see… Lil`Penny, she kicked it from birth.
Always knew her self worth exercising all them Rights of Choice.
Just a matter of format to keep them lips tight & moist
Any Hustler’s heart she’d surely hoist,
Placing it in her pocket using that baby girl voice
Lil’ Penny never one to be glossed ova…held onto that vibe since she sprung from Dover.
Thumbing I-95 then jumped inside the Land Rover.
Climbed-up in there with that Wily Dude
See Lil’Penny, she wasn’t a prude and the Wily Dude wasn’t at all rude.
Just two with intentions to just get ova. Both of them a match; but
Both knew better then to get too attached. Making plans that would be too intense
Just Two Hustlers living in suspense…Living' it live without consequence
You see… Head.2.Head the Game gets fed; flows with what’s said as it gets real loose
But can get turned into a nightmare if and when you increase the abuse.
So, their time ripped and rocked in between the sheets of a dream.
Buffered by their desire to keep cuts clean while leaving the lights on
Sometimes just lying' about right through to the dawn.
Him unable to get past her jokes and his own lies; those
Reoccurring thoughts of.. When were those times and who were those guys?
So sooner instead of later… darkness gradually overcast this dream
As this transformed Dude…wily, yet now, heartless and unable
Quite unstable, he howls at the moon and to himself
Him thinking now, share joy? Fuck that, that’ll be never
Least not more than the time it takes to be clever.
They together were now like spilt wine on soiled sheets.
A situation becoming more & more absent of heat
What remained now was a dishonest effort to become attentive.
Attentive to what used to be attractive and amusing.
You see…a Hustler’s abusing it's always an inconsiderate response
The pleasurable pain masking their wants
So…this here Deuce would end it playin’ it strictly financial.
But...The Truth be told their feelings were quite substantial.
As they ran their emotions through the wash and the rinse
Wherein, what came clean wasn’t the time they spent
Pity about that Game…
How it escapes from being what’s real
Getting captured by a lie which becomes its seal
Where those who should know better denying they know better
Just flowing with the mistake of being “Big Dollar Gettuz”
Because sure enough this Deuce went their separate ways
Chasing their Singular Hustles for them bigger paydays
As they made advancements in...so-called Society
Never to be happy; at least in entirety
Because a Dream deferred or one could call it incomplete
Sometimes finds
Love
for
Love… is the absent ingredient.

THE DESCENT
I volunteered to go down
Into the mines and further
We were going to map the underground
Publish the results and plan
The colonization by man
The subterranean depths
Were awesome to see
Caverns like those never seen before
Caverns built like Cathedrals
By a hominid race
With whom one day the expedition
Came face to face
With the natives of this nation
They looked like us but were palest white
This comes with living with no light
Their bones were lumpy and slightly deformed
Some skulls looked almost like they had horns
Male, female, child all spoke a language
Unknown to the earth, communication was attained
Using a computer decoder and we knew we had found
One of the ten lost Tribes, except this was the eleventh
Apparently constant persecution had driven them
Underground, where they practiced their religion
That predated Christ, barely resembled Judaism
Called themselves "older than dirt"
Said they had been around and witnessed it all
Come, their leader said...we will show you around
An escort of soldiers and large men
Led us into a library which they said
Had the documents of the the Great Libraries
Like, Alexandria, now thought to be gone
It seemed that they knew all about man
And we knew little about them
We mentioned Satan
They said it was a myth
So who do you worship?
They pointed to a hollow cavern
They said their God had no name
No shape, no form, HE WAS THE ONE
Who would come and take them HOME
No idol worship, remarkably human
We expected demons, they said they were common
They called us demons when they thought
We did not understand
They called the world above - HELL
They said they had found the PROMISED LAND
And it was not in Israel, or Mecca, or Vatican City
It was down here, in the underground
Which they civilized to look pretty
They gave us room and board
The Jesuit father said they must be converted
In order to save their souls
The Army Major said "they all must go"
The sociologists and anthropologists
Protested fiercely...they wanted to study them
The earthly party could come to no agreement
The Atlanteans as they called themselves
Came as a delegation
Asked us kindly to leave
Or they would be forced to kill us all
Unless we all became one with them
Never to return, never to remember
We were astonished that such gentle
Knowledgeable people would resort to this
But they said we were INFIDELS
And did not deserve to live
Unless we laid down our artillery
Changed our allegiance
Converted to their religion
Never have contact with those above
Astonished, we did not know what to do
So they made a sacrifice
The Jesuit Priest offered to go
To save our human lives
This was still unsatisfactory
For the army men
So the next to be killed humanely
Was one of them
The scientists were to be spared
As they posed no real harm
And the three woman in the expedition
Were not to be harmed at all
Thus was the end of the expedition
The earth had a mystery on its hands
I am now writing this
To document my conversion
To document what happened
To those who disappeared
If you are reading this
Another expedition
Must have found my manuscript
And lived...............

Creatures of the Unknown
http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-fZkyT-plYbU/UCYuMZskf7I/AAAAAAAAC2o/iTbhNR9fCJM/s640/kapre.jpg
I. The Kapre
Many a year ago, from a distant island I called paradise
Kids like me were exposed to the realm of fairy tales and magic
About an ugly looking horse-like creature smoking a cigar
Perched on top of a huge century-old balete tree
He was the guardian of the treasures buried under that tree
Never go near that tree, we were warned by the elders
For if you do, you're going to get lost and may never find your way
Expose yourself to the elements then wear your shirt inside-out
That will cast away the magic spell that befall unto you
I never believed this horse shit until the day I saw a cloud of smoke
Coming from the top of that huge century-old balete tree
http://a.wattpad.net/cover/3595745-256-k919986.jpg
II. The Aswang
Then, there was this beautiful maiden who lived alone in the woods
Had an angelic face and long flowing hair that reaches the ground
During the day, she would chant for hours while taking a bath
Fully naked and enticing passers-by in a near-by river falls
At stroke of midnight, she would apply magic oil all over her body
Then she would fly away with bat-like wings leaving her torso behind
She liked to feast on unborn babies - inside their mothers' wombs
By sticking out her tongue from the rooftops of expectant mothers
I never believed this horse shit until the day my mother told me
She was bitten by one of these creatures when I was still in her womb
http://zenshaman.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/guardianangel.jpg
III. The Treasure Guardians
My favorite of all folktales handed down from generations
Was from my grandfather who told me about the spirits in limbo
Who were called upon to guard the hidden treasures of the island
They lived in caves in the woods and go on a procession at nights
To pay homage to a certain spot in the woods and on the sea
It was said that if you had done good deeds you get rewarded
By leading you to a spot where you can dig a jar filled with gold
It comes with a sacrifice though, for you're going to lose a loved one
So that leaves you with a choice, and you must choose very well
Even if you find these treasures using high-tech metal detectors
And you're about to haul your precious finds from the pit
Something eerie would happen during the last minute
Mysteriously, they get sucked down into the earth and gone
Lost forever and buried into the abyss...
I never believed this horse shit until the day I heard
Precious artifacts began showing up in national museums
And treasure-hunting exploration began after recorded finds
These folktales may not be wild after all
And not just a product of our fantasy
For if you have a chance to drop by
To my beloved island paradise
The birds will sing you a lullaby
Until you sleep without saying good-bye

The Nazi Soldier
Beware o man,run, and beware,
For here comes a Nazi soldier!
So people ran helter skelter in the darkest hour of the night,
Frightened out of their wits
They wanted to live alongwith their kids.
But the soldier neither quivered nor did he want to kill,
Of all that he desired, he desired to live.
The alarm cried out and
The heavy marching of the troops rambled
the ground below.
The search lights glared brightly on his face,
He had to cover his face, with his fingers upon
his eyes.
He saw the graceful figure of the woman
Whom he promised his love.
But one wild day bullets and bombs tore his dreams apart.
The lady was kidnapped and taken to the camp,
And he was commanded to join the army if he wanted her to live.
That day he broke his cross and threw his guitar in the river,
He never sang again and painted his whole world black.
Every bullet he fired shattered his heart and
blurred his vision with tears,
He wanted to die as soon as he could
And living was that he feared.
One day while reading the papers,
His heart started trembling with joy.
But as he glanced the whole thing down,
His jaw dropped and his smile disappeared,
The lady whose pic adorned the page
Was charred to death ,and he was left in tears.
Out he went in rage and shot the General through his heart,
Then he started running towards the border, running for his life!
And now, here he is standing
With bullets whizzing past his head,
And CLANK! One struck between his eyes and forehead!
And he smiled for the first time
After ten years a stretch.
And slowly his eyes closed and his head was falling back
And he could see her eyes calling him where she lived.
And here is a story of a soldier, who neither quivered nor did
he want to kill,
Of all that he desired, he desired to live!

One Perfect Day
Running for the bus as it's driving away
You stopped the driver, began my perfect day
Floored by a strangers face and inviting smile
I came undone in less than a mile
Our conversation flowed with beautiful ease
My army defeated and down on their knees
As we approach the station there is fear in my heart
The end of the road is here, the moment we part
We both step off the bus in perfect time
I attempt to disguise my unraveling mind
Every fibre of my being wants to ask you to stay
I save my courage for another day
As I walk away my heart threatens attack
You reach out for my arm and gently pull me back
Be mine for this day? forget these feelings are strange
Tomorrow we return to our lives and nothing will change
I think of that day as I am nearing my last
More than the days of the thirty years passed
How can one day remain locked inside?
Still longing for all the nights we denied
The end lingers close and softly whispers I die tomorrow
Nothing can take back the day you saved me from sorrow

PART ONE
The Order
She had never been one for socialising, 28 and still a virgin, extremely shy around other people and even worse, when a man would dare speak to her. But she wanted to feel the touch of a lover so badly.
She lived a frugal life, spending her money on just what she needed to live and as she never went out to socialise, had amassed quite a sum of money as her savings - the only items she spent her money on was her underwear. She loved the feeling of knowing that she was wearing the sexiest of lingerie, beneath her very ordinary clothes, when she was at work or doing her weekly shop.
One evening, she was surfing the internet, when she came upon an advert for what was termed an 'android lover'. She clicked the link to the website and there she learned that she could in fact buy an android to her specification; skin colour, height, body type - all the prerequisites to build her perfect man, but she had no experience of men so only knew what she like the look of. She was going to take the plunge and use some of her savings to buy this product, although at 75,000 it seemed a little excessive. She would sleep on it.
Waking up the next morning she decided she would go ahead and buy this 'perfect man'. It would take two weeks from order and payment to delivery so she set to work, marking down on the website what she wanted her man to be.
The Delivery
It was a Saturday morning, when there was a knock at her front door. A large steel box was delivered and she told the two delivery men to stand it in her front room. They left and she sat for a long time, staring at the large steel box. She eventually picked up the instructions and started to read.
There was a large green button on the front of the box which the instructions directed her to press, in order for the registration of her android to start. She pressed the button and straight away, the box opened. The two halves of the front slid back into the sides of the box, to reveal her android.
She scanned him from head to foot, without touching him and she was unsure about his appearance, as no skin was showing. He was wrapped in a skintight bodysuit; covering his face, his torso, right down to his feet. But first impressions were very pleasing, as she could see the shape of his body - 6 feet tall, broad shoulders and well muscled. The bodysuit seemed to be made of some kind of thin plastic, with zippers ready to undo, at various parts of his body. It looked so good on the android, she almost thought it would be a shame to take it off.
She stepped forward and unzipped the plastic which was covering his face. Firstly, she could see pale white skin, smooth chin, full lips, a straight nose and strong brow. Best of all, there was no hair - she really hated body hair and wanted her man to be completely hairless. The android was beautiful and she could feel the excitement running through her, as she unzipped the other parts of his suit. Soon she had his top half uncovered. He had a wide broad chest with well-muscled flat stomach, large arms and hands.
She knelt down and gripped the zipper at his waist. She lowered her gaze and could see the large bulge between his thighs. She hadn't known what to ask for on the order form, so when asked how well endowed she would like him to, be she had chosen 'large' and the android certainly seemed to have plenty packed in down there.
She started to pull the zipper down and saw a thick fleshy appendage. She unzipped some more and it sprang out. This was very big. She knew nothing of men, but she'd seen images on the internet and this was big. She continued to unzip and the large orbs of his balls hung down between his legs. She had also asked for these to be large, as she liked it when she saw pictures of men with a nice large bulge cupped between their legs.
She unzipped his legs and stepped back to view his whole body. She was very impressed and she was especially curious to see how big that large flaccid penis would get. Thinking about this gave her a dull pleasant ache in her groin. His body was completely hairless as she had requested and completely smooth - not a blemish in sight. She stepped forward and touched his chest. It seemed to be made of a smooth, warm rubber material. She pressed and felt the hard springiness, much like muscle. She ran her fingernails down over his stomach, over his hip and down his thigh. She wanted to be naughty and feel him down there, but couldn't quite bring herself to do it.
She sat down on the sofa and stared at her new toy and imagined what kind of lover he would be; how he would feel kissing her and caressing her skin. She sat back and straightened her legs - she could feel the tight velvet of her underwear, pushing up into her sex and bunch between her buttocks, as she slid down forward onto the floor. She sat there staring, pushing her skirt up over her knees. She let her fingers slide underneath and up her thighs until she could feel the soft velvet tightly stretched over her sex. She was excited because it felt damp against her fingertips, as she traced her lips slowly. She decided to stand up and see what this android penis felt like.
She knelt in front of the android's feet and moved her hand up to gently cupped his balls, weighing them in her hand and feeling their considerable size, she squeezed lightly and saw that the penis was growing. She squeezed harder and it got thicker and longer - just how big could this get?
Some time went past with her squeezing and measuring, squeezing then measuring some more and when the jutting penis was ten inches long and seven inches around its circumference, she thought she'd better stop. Her heart was racing and she was flushed and damp - this was a magnificent beast and she was sure it could get even bigger… But she didn't want to break it.
Was this how she had to work his erection or would it be automatic when she activated the android?

One Year From Today
Last night I had a very real dream
An enchanting angel came to me
She said you will be in the world for one more year
All 365 days should be lived without fear
I will return for you one year from today
As I started to wake she slipped away
Now that I know when to expect the reaper
I embrace the pool of life and dive much deeper
I will keep the dream a secret, they won't understand
Why I was shown what death has planned
Wasted existence but now this is my chance
To choose life, to love, to laugh and to dance
Set free all the words I kept locked inside
Rescue the emotions I suppressed and denied
So clear now I have lived and feared in vain
I take back the power from my emotional pain
One year later and I have found inner peace
Tonight the angel comes for my souls release
It is my dying day and I am not even afraid
I find a friend in death, I have already been saved.
