Unusual Sympathy

 

So many see just a naughty boy
arrogance In his stride
its so easy to pass judgement
rather than look deeper
to see what he does hide?

If you took the time to see
deep into his soul
you would find a mystery
such a perfect little boy.

He deeply cares for those he loves
he won't just say those words
but sure enough, you earn his trust
and he will let you in his world.

This little heart, has been torn out
nightmares boiling pain
no where safe to run and hide
each day a fighting game
you pathetic bastard
leave this boy alone
devastating blame

So how does he cope with it?
how does he make them see?
that he's tired and he's scared
and he just wants to be free.

He hits out and he swears a lot
makes the most evil face of all
he throws things and he breaks them
punches holes in walls

He runs away, and finds a place
to curl up and just wait
to see how long will they come
Do I even matter at all?

And when the day is over
his mother holds him tight
"dont you even worry my love
I will fix it all again!
you know that mommy loves you,
I understand what you go through
I know this isn't who you are,
or what you want to be,
this is not your fault at all
I will fix you too"

And as he falls asleep with her
he calms so much it hurts
she holds him in her arms so tight
never wanting to let go.
See she can see his heartache
she sees past all his flaws
she sees the real boy that he is
just by reaching deep inside

Tears roll down her cheeks each day
tragically unable to breath
As silently she watches her baby
so innocent,
the victim,
Sadly only she can reach.

So how do we find out winners in these comps?.
