Empty lunch plates
I sit alone
Bad poems wrote
In a dirty notebook
Insults hurled
Harder than the
Dodge balls
Don't kill yourself today
Wait for the winter

"From start to Finish"
I was blowing my smoke in the sky,
Ignoring advice and getting high
Copied homework from the night before,
Passed notes, flirted and made jokes
Bathroom breaks to smoke a cig,
Skipping class to get it in
While her parents were away at work,
Take a shower and to school I returned
Bong hits before gym class,
Inspiration buzz in art
Never hesitant, always had my friends backs
First to throw a punch
Meet me after school or lunch
I choose to live a life of fun
Skipping practice still player of the game
Party animal, beer pong king
Hot boxing every chance we get
School busses and locker rooms
Late to class not giving a shit
If it’s not in the moment it was irrelevant
Part time working to pay for events
Passing classes, falling in and out of love
Dabbling with a list of stupid drugs
Playing paper football in detention
Drug tests and councilor interventions
Days of college applications
Receiving my diploma at graduation
The moment that tied it together
Prom with my high school sweetheart
After party, running the beach naked in the dark
Last day of school, smoking on the roof
Wishing you could go back to the first day of school
To do it all again and again, without change a thing
Best and worse four years on this earth
High school…was what it was worth
I was blowing my smoke in the sky,
Ignoring advice and getting high
Copied homework from the night before,
Passed notes, flirted and made jokes
Bathroom breaks to smoke a cig,
Skipping class to get it in
While her parents were away at work,

High School Hell
I stand alone
With no friends
Food thrown
My way
Insults
Rumors
Flow through my ears
People moving
When im near
Trying to
Break me
And leave me
In the dark
I stand alone
With no friends
Food thrown
My way
Insults
Rumors
Flow through my ears
People moving
When im near
Trying to
Break me
And leave me
In the dark

This is not so much a poem as it is more of a writing prose, please, it is quite relevant and would be a fine.. if not the best addition to your competition.
This is entitled -
"The Unwashed Filth (Writing Prose)"
"An english classroom has a certain stench, quite vile it can be when filled with ignoramuses with terrible taste in clothing attire." Gregory read from his speech that was suppose to depict the themes of a fictional novel, "Briar Rose".
A silent pause, "Yes" Gregory continues, "That vile stench of conformity, all of you reek of it, your insecurities have manifested before you in the selection of your 'friends', alienate and shun those whom you do not deem fit for your social constructs, you defend these as animalistic primates, terroritial like primitive men." Gregory opens, "Now, as you all know, I am unique, and I am better than all of you, for I do not submit to your hierarchy, I do not ponder in fallacious illusions of depression, nor do I manifest my own inseurities before me."
Gregory shudders, as if physically agitated by his surrondings,"To be frank, I despise this.. and most importantly, your social construct and everything it symbolises, i'd much rather a fiery death than to submit to these sub-conciously dictated and constructed laws and what's expected of me, for contained within my speech is a direct violation of everything you wretched beings represent, and in turn, you're offended, I really haven't a care for your offensive nor do I have anyrespect for any one of you." Gregory implores.
"Now, do you any questions for your future tyrannical oppressor?" Gregory inquires with a hint of mockery.
"Yeh, cunt!" An ignoramus known by the name of Corey, they call him 'Squeaky' bites "Ya think ya top shit mate, you aint better than any one of us ya dog, fuck ya! Ya wear that uniform ya fuckin' 'hippocrite'"
Gregory genuinely laughs, "This is exactly what I was tapping into with the utmost audacity, yet you stillcannot make thatconclusion for yourself? Onwards now, we have our example" "I will ignore the pathetic attempts of mockery and your deplorable imecility to imply you're wrong, i'm nothing like any of you, I am supreme, for I am enlightened and as for the rest of you, gobbling up your daily dose of lies from your television sets, brainwashing your tiny little brains to the point of 'zombification'" Quite sad really" "As for these individuality sucking voids known as 'uniforms' these are enforced upon us by the institution to enslave and set a mindset of communial brotherhood, which is then nutured and exploited by the insititutions as we are passed down form one institution to another, and there is no escape for the ignorant"
"I, Gregory. Announce my supremacy."
Gregory lights a match and sets his speech of 'Briar Rose' alight in flames and strides for the exit with his head held in the highest regard.
For he knows he will soon be free.

Classroom Copy
What I see
When I look at this book
Is the off white color
The thick black letters
How some of the print has faded away
From florissant light
The way I hold this classroom copy book
My teal painted nails
My fairly tanned hand holding the center of the book
While my other hand holds the weight of my head
Bored to death
Starring at this book,
With the intent of reading it
But finding myself not easily distracted
But searching for distractions
Pondering why every school book has the same font
Analyzing that I'm not the first student to dislike this book
Seeing that there is a crease in the spin of the book
Tells me that someone had page 10 open for a very long time
My teacher probably thinks this book would help with the lesson we will learn
But I can't get over the fact that I do not wish to read
A out dated, extremely long sentenced, descriptive book!
Which I realize must have took the author a while to write,
But I don't have the patience to read and re-read
So I sit here wasting time
And praying these words will pop out and make sense to me
Or just fill up this 50 minute class period
.......I should really touch up my nail polish.

Trail of Tears
I was labeled an innocent victim
By virtue of a dispassionate system
There was nowhere left for me to hide
So I barricaded myself deep down inside
I crawled under my own blemished skin
Bid goodbye to my childhood grin
Worked tirelessly to stop my breathing
Hoping that no one noticed my weezing
I had nothing more to say about those
Verbal assaults and menacing blows
I allowed my silence to speak for itself
Even if they questioned my mental health
No one knew that I was on trial
Less and less had I a reason to smile
Declared incompetent by a jury of peers
Made to suffer in a prison of fears
My grades slipped and I stopped caring
It seemed like the whole planet was staring
Conceiding my fate is the only thing to do
The pressure's too great to stand up and face you
So here I am, deciding to take my life
To end it all with one swift slice of the knife
You were right...
I'm too weak to fight...
Thank you for showing me the light...
Now I won't be a blur in your sight...
Getting sleepy, eyelids heavy, goodnight...
*No one should die like this. No one.
