To woo a man
I was in love
and so I thought
I would woo him
and make him love me
So I cooked his favourite meal
very good pasta with beef balls
but he declined to come
and dinner was spoiled
I was not one to give it up
and say I have had enough
I invited him once again
for a night in my apartment
I serve him beer
all he could drink
and all he did was fart
all night
and stunk up the kitchen
On my third date I made him cake
and serve it with tea
on a dainty tray
he turned his nose away
and watched football on TV
Desperate I tried
once again to please
and invited him for the fourth time
all hot and bothered
not having had good sex
for as long as can be
I put on a sexy nightie
