Ode to Dyo, the Mysterious One

Oh, Dyo, the Mysterious One divine,
In springs and valleys, your beauty doth shine.
With magic in your hands, a goddess so rare,
In your presence, all burdens we gladly bear.

Born with the secrets of nature's embrace,
You grant blessings to those who seek your grace.
In the fields, you empower and bestow,
The wisdom of farming, where crops freely grow.

Fertility flows in your gentle touch,
Blessing the land, oh, Dyo, how much!
From your embrace, children multiple bloom,
In the cycles of life, you banish the gloom.

In garments of green, you enchant our sight,
Your glistening beauty, a radiant light.
Mysterious in ways, your heart does explore,
The depths of human romance, forevermore.

Across distant lands, your essence does roam,
Observing love's dance, in every sweet home.
A traveler of worlds, both near and afar,
You're a celestial being, a luminous star.

With Pearl by your side, in friendship you bask,
Bringing joy and blessings, a heavenly task.
Silken skin, eyes like gold, and hair so bright,
Your presence fills our souls with pure delight.

Though some may fear the power you wield,
In your mysteries and beauty, we're compelled.
In your springs and valleys, we find our way,
To honor your essence, we sing today.

Oh, Dyo, the Mysterious One so fair,
In your realm, we find solace and care.
With gratitude in our hearts, we shall adore,
Your eternal magic forevermore.

thanks to everyone for these great comp entries
I made a typo on the competion it should have been "write an ode" not "write a ode."

To all who entered, if you feel like nominating a poem in this comp you liked put it in the thread. Otherwise I will pick the winner and the runners up.

There are some great entries here, but Ode to Dyo Written by Dre_k47 is particularly striking.

Anu

Ancient God of Akkadia
gifter of knowledge divine
mathematics, schematics, geometry
structures that baffle our mind

How divinely blessed am I
bathed by your morning Light
offering service in gratitude
for patience, mercy, and truth

Brush from my thought all darkest night
attempting to swallow my soul
reveal the Light within all hearts
that I come to know them as Love

May you deem me worthy
for the wisdom that you bestow
as one who works for the greater growth
of humanity and Mother Earth

Goddess on the Hunt

Never cross a deity
Never tempt one into ire
For there will be consequences
Don’t get caught in their temper’s fire

It is said that when Zeus’ headache was so severe
He received a blow from an axe right to the head
And out sprang Athena, beautiful and fully grown
In body armor and a spear, ready – forging ahead

Goddess on the Hunt
Goddess of wisdom
So beautiful and strong
Virgin and pure
Chaste and secure
Of the judgment she casts upon

She turned Medusa into a monster
Arachne into a spider
Never disrespect a Goddess
And under no circumstance ever try her

She shares wisdom with true warriors
She blesses those who are brave
Beautiful Goddess on the hunt
To thee I offer this ode and pray
