Just about 24hrs left before this comp ends up on the voting block so there's still time to look around and highlight a poem that deserves some spotlight.
Thanks to all that took the time to enter a poem here. I hope y'all are staying safe (at home) and thinking positively.

Labefaction
Read the update or news or blue clues that evidently
schizophrenic me
did not
could not
wanted to
understand.
i am better with Feelings or so i pridefully thought / said
and still I could not save Her.
********************
I crave the intimate
Your(‘s)…..
intimate and You let me………..in
and delighted and tickled my spirit
and hugged me
when ……………
then achingly,
You left
(me)
You, my Love, my muse, are finally liberated to
To love the way You were always meant to;
To live the way You were always meant to;
To soar the way You always wanted to !!
I know
You know (as in private msgs i’ve told You repeatedly)
what the Tao is all about and our journey
Whether or not we are here or are destined to return here or way way over there!
You, my Love
100% understood me,
____am gonna soooooooooo fuckin’ miss You.
Thankful You thought of me prior to departure
& left a note to me and Yes,
Via Your Friend ---- delivered ~
Namaste Noire Rose
At last!! You and me are beyond intimate!!
…..love You

The comp is officially closed and looks like a winner will have to be decided manually because the current 5 that are on the voting block have been sitting there for sometime and more can't be added.
I will ask couple of judges to help me decide to keep things fair and balanced.
Stay tuned...

Thank you for assuming responsibility for this, Layla. Sometimes it comes down to it. Can you award the previous one first?

I don't know how (POM February) it looks like its not giving me any option for me to choose since its at the status of voting by public. Unless the webmiss can unlock that status so i can take care of it manually, if possible.

I'd definitely message Craic. You might have to select them submit them for Webmiss to do manually. Not sure about that process.

Several judges were called upon and they were kind enough to help out with their choices.
They were asked to choose 2 poems that they felt stood out amongst all the wonderful nominations with comments on why they were chosen.
Here are some of the comments in no particular order:
“Impressions” by Madame Lavender, it's a concise, emotive and powerful love poem that really pulls at the heart strings.
“Filling in the Tin Station” by souladareatease, a beautifully nostalgic piece.
“when i go running” by Gonezelo.. is a poem of feelings, emotions and contexts that is built on foundations of wonderful imagery combined with subtle metaphor and a passion reminiscent of Pablo Neruda, with its insistent return to the refrain and theme of the verses.
“Dancing in the trees” by EmilyRose1995.. is to me a true hymn to several different kinds of love - it flows smoothly and conjures visions of a mythic innocence. It is soft and gentle and filled with memories and a hint of regret. So lovely to read and reflect upon. And is beautifully formed - almost sculpted.
'Our Hut' by I_IS_ME : this poem really painted a picture and scene that brought the reader in into the intimacy and surroundings.
'gawd help us ..' by dartford: small and succinct yet with so many layers. A timely piece yet still with wit and wonder in the face of the plague.
“Impressions” by Madame Lavender.
“When I go Running” by Gonezelo
I don't have a good explanation for why I chose those two, though, other than those are the ones that I felt most deeply.
In conclusion after reviewing all the recommendations by the judges with much appreciation for their invaluable time:
Viddax, Sweet Oblivion, New Beginnings and Miss Indie
The Poem Of The Month for March goes to:
Madame Lavender for “Impressions” nominated by FromtheAsh
Congratulations to all for contributing your best.

Webmiss will make the correction to award it to Madame Lavender when she logs in next.
Also, for February its been decided we're just waiting for her to award it, so thank you all for your patience.

Thank you, Layla, for your dedication and commendable actions regarding these comps! Sometimes the host will be required to assume responsibility. You stepped up wonderfully!
