I've rested beneath the soil,
hidden from the pen.
A cold blanket of writer’s block immures me.
A new day dawns; its rays paint my shallow grave with light.
My waking head tilts;
hands parting the walls of this prison.

Had said so earlier that would extend the deadline of comp.so many more could enter...sorry, couldn't be here myself that time today to extend!:(
But would sincerely request ..still if anyone need to enter, plz do the same..would consider the entries for another added 24 hours from now on...
Thanxx again you all fab micropoetzz, & would decide the trophy after i go through each n every entry yet again from tomorrow..Perhaps would loop in some seasoned poets here for their choices.

I evoke you, inspiration--
3:00 AM muse from a sleepless void;
blind gardening through darkness
of bare feet and cold linoleum.
In feral awakening of senses
between wolverine verses
of peculiar silences, I hear

Soulful Gratitudes!!!! for all lovely Deep Poetz who entered with such sculpted verses ..of no not sleepleznez ..but a poetic awakening as i read your heart-out art as micropoems here..would have been much gladdened if i could award a trophy to each one, but so as the comp. guideline goes, had to zoom in some entries which made a cut above others..however small or big that was..
