Preserving DUP: A Print-on-Demand Anthology

We’ve now selected over 250 poets and more than 400 poems for consideration in the anthology. Final inclusion will depend on space, permissions, balance, and how all the pieces fit within the anthology. The response so far has been awesome, and we're very grateful for the support and enthusiasm from the DUP community.
This coming week, the team will be working hard to finalise the curation and permission process, so if you haven’t yet responded to a permissions message, please check your inbox when you get the chance.

I know social media isn’t everyone’s thing [it’s definitely not mine either], so I’m currently looking into other ways to keep everyone in the loop, possibly a simple updates page or mailing list with no pressure to join Facebook. I’ll post an update here as soon as I’ve got something set up.
Just a heads up… this will be a long term project, and it could take up to 12 months to complete the editing, design, and publishing process. We’ll continue sharing updates along the way.
Also, I’ll be posting a pre-order link here in the forum later this week once that’s ready.

Lauryn's Passing
Letter to Lauryn's poetry friends.
It grieves me to share this with one of Lauryn’s writing communities. She shared her writing on this site with me though I’m only now reading into the past of her life. I loved Lauryn very much and, even though we recently parted, it crushed me to learn of her death.
Our time together was a time of healing for both of us. She seemed to always be living near death and her writing I’ve looked at so far confirms this. Her life took a negative turn after she and I separated but that seems to be the pattern she’s followed for several years.
Lauryn is dead now and she would tell us to understand that death as final, a ceasing of her existence, but I can’t accept that. I believe her soul continues to exist in a place of peace and love.

I was one of her and her mother's regular fans although I too would have disagreed with her views of afterlife. Sorry that the DUP site has found itself surviving her (only just).
