As the wheel turns toward Ostara, our ancestors felt this same stirring in the blood. The Saxons knew this moment well - when winter's grip loosens and the first green shoots break through frost-hardened soil.

Today, as we stand at this threshold between dormancy and growth, feel your connection to the land beneath your feet. The same forces that push the seedling upward stir within you.
Honour the old ways by simply stepping outside, breathing deeply, and feeling the warmth of returning sun on your face. The wisdom of our ancestors lives in these simple acts of reverence.

The one on the bank is very pregnant. About 50 eggs soon. The one in the canal is the male, who stick around for a little while after the eggs are laid. Then the female runs him off, because he may eat some of the babies.

Bloody hell it's a beautiful day! Was out shopping with my daughter for a few this afternoon! I am so grateful that we grew to be close friends. It's something I never had the opportunity to do with my own mother.
The Cherry Trees and Bradford Pears are all in full bloom.

ahh beautiful A! In here too, march to june thunderstorm rains called cherry blossom showers are on.. from just today! & surprisingly , our city too have the cherry blossoms all around in exotic pinks.. they trees introduced in this city though
