Continuing this year's dedication to Eerie—this was her final NaPo bio in 2023. Last year would've been her fifth NaPo, earning her the 5-year trophy. But felt she needed to break to focus on her health, believing that she would return this year and earn it.

I just attempted "February Album Writing Month" for my first time, in which songwriters attempt to write 14 songs in 28 days. I wrote TWO. 🤣 It was worth a shot!

Sorry to hear about the demise of Eerie. I haven't ever known her on personal level. We never interacted ever.
But I'm so shocked to hear about this sad news. Had read couple of her poems. She was a great writer. A big loss for DUP as well .

Excited to have you with us this year! INDIA is stepping up with THREE entrants so far! You guys are in second place after the U.S. for number of entrants! Scottland and England are tied for third!

Please permit me to introduce myself.
This is my 6th NaPo year, five of which I have served Team NaPo, including twice as director. I published "a kiss to die for," a first-collection of photos and poems, in 2010, profiling 60 of my poems and 30 of my photographic images.
I have been writing since I was 13 years old, having, now, a collection of some fifteen hundred poems. Many of my individual works have been published in newspapers, magazines, in electronic media, including radio, as well as in virtual and live exhibitions at home and abroad.
For me, the whole idea of poetry is to diversify the ways in which we express ourselves, and to grasp the power of expressive choice, when deciding whether poetry or prose or silence would best serve our purpose, in any given situation.
