Hi, Grace💐

I bet your handwriting is wonderful. Whip out your pen, write a poem and post it up. I'd love to see it.

Sandonyourtoes,
ajay💐

December 2018, Monty Lameer published a poem named Blather.
In Australia, Monty is a valued and eccentric artist.
Lady Gaga follows her for some 15 years.

She gave me her OK to put Blather to music and I made a demo of it. The demo, warts and all, contained just the right amount of tension and drama. It’s a lament!

Monty's Blather

Some day
The rain will fall upon me
And wash away the stains
Of life's softly painted brush strokes
That left these aches and pains

Some day
My tears will no longer fall
While holding tight this knife
Is it ok that I don't mind
If I fail the test of life?

Some day
My face won't look so naked
Without its masks and dye
I'll be free to show my colours
But there's an eyelash in my eye

Some day
My mind will not awaken
To all the dull and gray
Stuck inside my cage of fear

I hope to see that day

Enjoy!
Vriendelijke groet, Gus

Hi, Gus.

Yes, I'd say your estimation re the nib is more accurate than Jinhao's. Nice writing. What's the name of the ink?

Best wishes. 🖋️

Hoi hoi Ajay,
I like it that you like it.
The ink is Majestic Purple byDiamine

The pen was part of a set intended to write get well soon/Christmas cards.
The other 5pens are with one of my children. But I kept this one.
I brought it with me on one of my hikes and it kept up very very well under the strain.
As is to be expected for a €2,00 pen. I promised myself not to buy pens of this price range. It’s ridiculous, really.

You seem to have a preference for green inks? And Parker too. I’ve only one Parker and am convinced I must keep it that way.
Have a nice week!
Kind regards, Gus
