Reporting poems for plagiarism

I think it would help that when reporting a poem, there were more options than just "Adult Content".
Such as, "Plagiarism". The ability to attach a note would be helpful, because then links as proof could be provided.

While the offender hid the above poem after reading this thread, the suggestion still remains as a valid suggestion to streamline the process of cutting down on plagiarism at DUP.

I haven’t seen any examples of plagiarism yet, but if I see one, I’ll be sure to let you know.

Can Webmiss or a Moderator pay attention to the footnote on this post? A few months back plagiarism was reported and according to some members nothing was done. Betty went in and tore the offender a new one, and she deleted or disabled her account. There was DEFINITELY plagiarism because the members that contacted me showed me the screen shots. Betty saw them too, which is why she went in and said something.
Not sure where the communication breakdown is here but members are leaving because of it.

She’s gone. Don’t know if she left of her own accord or what, but she will most likely be back with a different profile. I don’t even have words to describe how I feel about people who steal other people’s thoughts, experiences and words. The rest of it I’ll keep to myself.
Thank you, Ahavati

You're welcome. Hopefully it's all sorted. We'll just have to keep our eyes open. Such behaviour is unacceptable.

Hello
As it happened the offender kept disabling their account before we could ban it. soon as it came back a Mod banned it
Consider it gone now.

Nothing was done because we weren't able to do anything. The offender deactivated their account and when that happens, we have no access to it. They did reactivate recently and I removed about 15 poems that I found had been stolen, banned the account and sent a warning pm. They deactivated again , and I did request to the Webmiss that the account be fully removed and we're awaiting reply. Problem right now, is if the account reactivates again, they can still function once the ban expires, but we are watching and will re-ban, if the account is not removed soon.

People get banned (temporarily) for voicing their opinion but this thief gets to roam among us lifting our words…unbelievable.
People get bans for trashing other members here, under the guise of voicing their opinions, not for solely voicing their opinions -- there's a difference.
